Frisk's POV

I was pretty sure I knew where to go. The old Sans was very meticulous about where he put his ketchup. I had never really taken him for a smoker though. Perhaps that was a Gaster thing? I didn't care. I would check the sentries first, and then MTT resort.. If there was anywhere Sans hadn't checked, it was anywhere that had to do with Mettaton

Papyrus was the opposite. As great as he knew he was, he thought Mettaton was better.. And Papy thinking that anybody was better than him was almost unimaginable. Instead of leaving Papyrus without a gift I would get him something of Mettaton's. It wasn't like either of them needed gifts from me but it was still a nice thought.

Glancing down at the ground, I found a stick. One lonely, pathetic stick. It was stupid but I picked it up, and brought it with me on my little trip. I swung it around, aimlessly, as if it were a wand from Harry Potter. It was silly but it distracted my thoughts until I came across the first sentry.

It was old. It looked like with a strong gust of wind, it would cave into itself. Considering how long it had gone without anyone watching over it (ironically) It was bound to break. Come to think of it, all of them were. Deciding to be careful, I hopped over the top, landing on my feet, and knelt down.

Tucked safe and neatly under the counter, was mustered, a small jar of hard candies, aaand.... Ketchup! Guess he hadn't been looking as hard as I'd thought. Grabbing the ketchup, I tossed myself back over the other side and continued on my merry way.

At the next sentry of his, there were three more bottles of ketchup and a bag to place them all in. I had decided I would place their gifts under the tree, and later, when we all went on a walk, they would find them there. Papy always loved the secret Santa we'd do. He would alway do Mettaton... And sans would always do me... It was always something stupid and cheesy, like a joke book or a sock or something... I would always get him something he appreciated though... Something like a physics book, or a ketchup bottle that I would talk Grilby into letting me have.

In waterfall, I stayed a while. It was too beautiful not to stay.. Brushing a few flowers as I passed, I smiled to myself, at the admirable excitement from the monsters that were rushing to the service. All of which I had recognized. At the sentry I had found a few packs of cigarettes as well as a jumbo container of ketchup. And stuffed them into the bag.

It would have been reasonable to turn back then but I hadn't. I had decided to go further, and onto the hotlands sentry. On the walk down, I had decided that I would only place Papyrus' gifts under the tree, handing Sans his own after Papy was asleep so he didn't feel less appreciated. I wasn't that, but it was more the fact that I had a deeper cut to heal with Sans. I would talk him into a clean slate..

At the last sentry, I wasn't as lucky but had found a pack of good cigars. Sans smoked cigars? Perhaps it was a celebratory thing... He probably wouldn't even touch them, but it was worth a chance, so I stuffed them into the bag as well, turning back.

I had almost passed MTT's resort, deep in my thoughts. Regardless though, I stopped and entered. In the restaurant off to the side there were plates of food... seemingly untouched, as though those who ate there had just up and left. They were that excited? I feel horrible...

Getting over it, I pressed on, pulling myself down the silent halls and into Mettaton's room. I glanced around for something. Anything Papyrus would find interest in... Like perhaps.... Bone cologne? Why would a robot have bone cologne dumbass? Papyrus didn't like much... That was when I found a picture of the two on metta's desk. He was kissing Papy on the cheek. They were in a relationship...

I grabbed it, figuring Papyrus would enjoy that as well as one of Mettaton's hoodies. They reeked of mettaton, even still. I was pretty sure that'd be good...So walking myself back out the doors and into waterfall, I headed back home. home...

As I returned I placed Sans' cigars under the tree, as well as Papy's gifts. I glanced at the tree and smiled softly. After all these years, they still managed to keep it lit. I was surprised the core hadn't even blown up or something without Alphys here to keep it from doing just that.

When I'd entered the house, Sans was asleep on the couch and Papyrus was reading. Reading? On his own..? I've missed alot.. Hoping neither brother would pay attention, I approached the stairs and walked up to the room. Surprisingly, I had, and I made it in. I placed the bag under my pillow and smiled to myself.

We go on the walk in a few hours...

This would be okay
