The nightmare.... Was different this time.... Gaster was still there, in the flashing lights, getting closer.... But this time.... He had two syringes.... One yellow, one orange..... When I opened my eyes once more, he had passed me. He... wasn't hurting me this time?
My position was changed then. I was suddenly aware of the icy metal table I was attached to. Strapped to... Restrained to.... I was elevated to a point that the restraints that kept me from moving dug into my skin, due to the gravitational pull..... But that was the least of my worries....
In front of me, a good distance away, was Sans and Papyrus... Also strapped to tables... Once glance at Papyrus and my heart snapped. He was trembling with fear... He looked at me with pleading eyes.. Beggingme to help, like I wasn't restrained too.. But then... I wasn't restrained..... That was probably the worst part... I was no longer being held back... I could have helped..... But I didn't... I couldn't move no matter how much I had tried..
I glanced at Sans, for confirmation. He knew I was trying to move, right? Wrong... He was glaring at me, eyes hollow. Tears in the corners, some slipping down his face. He snared, pure betrayal across his features. "Ihate you!!!" He yelled, pulling at the restraints. I couldn't breath now.... Here I was, standing and watching Gaster as he stood by Sans, and injected the yellow liquid. I screamed. "NOO!!" but I couldn't be heard. He just gritted his teeth and grunted, continuing to glare.
Tears formed in my eyes and just as I was able to move again, I was surrounded in a two inch thick glass chamber. Immediately I threw myself into it and hit it until my hands were bloody. Gaster glanced at me and grinned his drippy, black void grin as he approached Papyrus. I screamed louder, trying to get Gaster to glance over.... Perhaps talk him into taking me instead. I didn't want Papyrus to go through that pain....I couldn't allow that...
"This is your fault!!" Sans yelled.
No....N... No!!!! NO!!
And then, as I always had with nightmares, I woke up screaming bloody murder. Tears were streaming down my cheeks and everything was in pain. All I could see was Sans' purple burred room. My eyes shut toward the door when I heard it slam open. I couldn't see anything but a black figure in the doorway.
In my state, I already couldn't breath. But I thought the black figure was Gaster, and suddenly I was crying harder. "NO!!! NO PLEASE GO AWAY!!!" I screamed, backing against the wall. Suddenly my vision went blind with a neon purple glow. It sent a piercing pain, shooting down my spine and I yelped.
There was a tight grip on my shoulders then and a rough shaking. A faint voice was heard but I couldn't make out what it was saying over the ringing in my ears. I was gasping for air and slowly the ringing stopped. With time, the pain faded and my vision came back. My eyes were still wild, shooting around.
They had finally landed on the figure in front of me, knees bent on either side of my body, and a tight grip on my shoulders. Wild eyes, searching my own. That figure wasn't Gaster, but Sans. By the way he was panting, I was guessing that he had only just run up. Which... meant I wok him with my screams.... Fuck... this isn't what I wanted...
"Frisk, are you alright?!? What the fuck happened???" He asked, terribly worried.
At this point I was only just regaining the ability to breath. Tears only began to stream again as I weakly called out his name and wrapped my arms around his neck in a tight hug. He had tensed up, but then slowly hugged back tightly.
He let out a breath. "I'm here... It... It's okay I won't let anything hurt you..." He consoled, rubbing my back in long, slow circles. But it wasn't myself that I couldn't protect...
After a little while I had collapsed onto the bed, unable to sleep due to traumatization. Sans had offered to stay until I fell asleep and I had accepted. Perhaps his scent would help me sleep... He laid beside me and slipped under the covers, placing an arm under the pillow and resting his head.
Just then, I relaxed, his intoxicating scent filling the air. It surrounded me, holding me and protecting me from any outside thoughts. Just as I had begun to fade, I felt the bed creak, and his scent had left. Before he could leave, I weakly grabbed his shirt. He turned and looked at me. I couldn't be alone tonight... "What is it dove?" He asked quietly.
"Please stay.... Just for tonight..." Just for tonight....
