G's POV
Silently I had listened to their little conversation. Frisk's birthday was today? Why had I forgotten? Papyrus hadn't.... Perhaps we each lost certain memories? It was understandable to not want to celebrate, but... Just for not telling me, I'm going to make her celebrate anyway. Twenty two, right?
The look on her face, when I spoke was priceless. It was even more so, when I saw the cake that Papy had brought her, all covered in spaghetti. I wasn't going to eat it, and my guess was that Frisk wasn't either. It would simply be solved when I told Papy that we weren't up for it,and I would teleport it away after Paps was asleep, saying I ate it all as a midnight snack.
"Papy I think we should throw her a party." I offered, remembering Frisk's whole 'No such thing as a three person party' from last night.
"That's a wonderful Idea brother!! It will be held at Grilby's! For music, food, and drinks!" He replied. I liked the sound of that... Maybe I could even get a dance with the dollface in my lap...
"That sounds great! Paps how bout' you go decorate while I take the birthday girl herre out for her birthday outfit?"
"W-wait I-" Frisk tried, desperately, but Papyrus smiled brightly and cut her off.
"Fear not brother! I will not fail you!" He claimed, bounding out.
Sparing a glance at Frisk, I laughed. She had the most unimpressed look ever. "Why are you doing this...?" She asked, her question, laced with annoyance.
I composed myself and hugged her from behind, pulling her against me. "Well first reason is because you didn't tell me it was your birthday, and two, because you deserve a good day.." I explained, kissing the back of her head.
She huffed. "Any day is a good one as long as I'm with you two.."
"Gpd how much cuter do you get???" I asked, showering her in kisses. She giggled and I had almost thought it was my birthday. That laugh was all I wanted to hear.
"Stop it G you're making me blush!" She whined, playfully pushing me away.
I chuckled softly. "But you're cute when you blush... C'mon, get up, we gotta take you to Maggie's shop.."
She glanced at me curiously. "Why? I have clothes upstairs ya know... Lemme just get my satche-"
"No.. We're getting you a nice dress and dress shoes, and all that fun, sparkly, girl stuff." I said.
She laughed"Are you really going to make me do this...?"
"Yes... Now c'mon, let's go." I said, smirking. SHe sighed, but did as told and got up. When we got to Maggies, I took her into the back, where Maggie normally kept her dresses.
The second Frisk had walked in she went over to the black dresses. She was so my girl... Deciding that it'd be better to give Frisk some space, I wandered over to the glass casing in the corner. It held jewelry of all sorts. One, out of them all, had stuck out the most though. It was a ruby cut into a rectangular shape.
Frisk was a simple girl, and I knew from both past experiences, and recent, that she wasn't a very materialistic person but I couldn't stop myself from sliding the glass over and reaching in to grab the trinket. Frisk looked very nice in black and a small, red contrast would be perfect.
After that, I went back to where Frisk was last, to find that she had gone missing... but so had one of the dresses from the rack, so I wasn't worried. I sauntered over to where the dressing rooms were and took a seat in the back, lighting a cigarette. "You find one ya like?" I asked.
