I quickly scanned the tight space that I was confined in. It looked like a shipping container. He was standing in the doorway, checking his watch as he looked left and right before looking left again. It was starting to get light again, the sound of seagulls screeching in the air. My hands were handcuffed behind my back, my ankles to the legs of the chair that I was sat on. I was staring at his back, filled with confusion. It took a moment for me to find the courage, unsure of his intentions.
"Why have you brought me here?" My voice was raspy and quiet, but he heard me, turning around to face me.
"You're asking me why? Isn't it obvious?" Namjoon asked as he placed his hands on the arm rest of the chair, all ten fingers intact. He wiggled them at me, mockingly.
"If it were obvious, I wouldn't be asking you why." I could feel my anger rising, thinking about what Namjoon was doing to his friends, his brothers!
"What Jimin is doing with you is so wrong on so many levels. I've tried to get through to him but he's blinded. Thinks the pair of you connect on some sort of higher plane, my efforts were completely wasted." He grumbled. "I thought I would be able to get through to him. I prayed that I would be able to get through to him. But my hand was forced, you both gave me no option but to act this way." My anger was mounting by the moment.
"Nobody forced you to do anything, Namjoon. You've acted because you've allowed your hatred for my Father to twist into a hatred for me. I would never do anything to hurt Jimin, or any of you guys for that matter!"
"Your presence alone hurt us, Ruby. Every day that Jimin keeps you around, he's putting himself in jeopardy, putting us all in jeopardy. I had to do this, for his own good, for the gang's own good." He was speaking firmly, as though to convince himself.
"And what exactly is it that you're going to do?" I asked, my voice filled with nerves as he checked his watch as though he was waiting for something.
"I'm not going to kill you, if that's what you're worrying about. I'm just simply giving you back." He popped his head out of the container as my heart fell through into my stomach.
"Namjoon, you can't just give me back to my Father. He'll kill all of you, he'll figure out exactly where I've been. You can't do this." I tried her best to reason with him but he just smiled, unfaltering.
"Stupid girl," He growled, rounding on me. "I am not giving you back to your Father." My face furrowed in confusion. "It turns out that Jackson Wang also has a hatred for your Father. Once he was married to you, he was planning on tearing The Order down, not building it up. Your Father is finally going to get his comeuppance. Wang has offered The Brotherhood a deal for your return and for aid in the downfall of your Father. I made the deal on Jimin's behalf. It's the best solution for everyone." He seemed to be trying to convince himself again.
"You cannot be that stupid, Namjoon. Once he sees The Brotherhood as a threat, he will take you down without a second's hesitation. If he's planing on killing my Father, what does he need me for anyway?" I asked, the details not making any sense.
