Jimin's Point of View
Jimin couldn't settle. He'd paced the floor so much he was sure he'd made an indent in the foundations. He couldn't get the image out of his head, no matter how hard he tried.
The smell of blood hit him like a wave as he pulled the heavy door open. He paid Jackson no heed as he crossed the room, sights on Paige. She was lying flat on her back, blood pooling from the side of her abdomen. All Jimin wanted to do was fall to his knees and hold her close but his brain quickly kicked in as he scooped her up, holding her against his chest. She was freezing cold, her skin like ice. Casting the bad thoughts from his mind, Jimin bundled her into the car before speeding towards the hospital.
They had taken Paige straight down for surgery. Jimin couldn't rest. Every time a doctor appeared, he made a beeline for them, desperate for information. He ran his hands across his face and through his hair.
Yoongi and Hoseok came rushing into the hospital after Jimin had been waiting an hour for news. Hoseok embraced him as Yoongi made a beeline for the coffee machine.
"We came as soon as we could." Hoseok said. "Any news yet?" Jimin shook his head.
"Where's the rest of the boys?" Jimin asked. Yoongi came back over with a cup of coffee for each of them.
"Jungkook and Taehyung are cleaning up the scene. Jin and Namjoon are disposing of the body." Yoongi muttered under his breath.
"Who knew that Paige-ah had it in her? The shot was clean through-" Hoseok stopped talking at the sight of Jimin's face. "Ah, I didn't mean-"
"It doesn't matter what she did to him. I would rather have Jackson Wang alive than Paige hurt. If they don't make it...I don't know what I'll do..." Jimin sat back into the chair, head in his hands. Hoseok and Yoongi exchanged a look.
"What do you mean 'they'?" Hoseok asked.
"Do you need to rest? Is he confused? He sounds confused." Yoongi suggested. Jimin sighed. He hadn't anticipated telling them this way.
"Paige is - well she's pregnant." Jimin shrugged off Hoseok as he tried to congratulate him. "He shot her in the stomach, Hoseok." They sat in silence for hours. Jimin didn't dare close his eyes, just in case he fell asleep. He needed to stay awake. He needed to be there if she needed him. A doctor appeared after the sixth hour, standing in the doorway looking around. Running a firm hand down his face, Jimin gave himself a shake before heading over to the doctor.
"Excuse me. Doctor? Do you have an update at all on Kim Paige?" The doctor looked at his clipboard before looking up at Jimin once more.
"Can I ask what is your relation to Miss Kim?" Jimin was getting agitated. He needed to know, now.
