Paige headed up to her room to get changed into something impressive. She was in charge of this now, she had to look the part. Once she had showered, she came across Jimin's business card on the floor.
Damn - she'd forgotten to call him.
Dialling his number, she pressed the phone to her ear as she looked through her wardrobe, weighing up the pros and cons of the dresses before her. Jimin answered after a few tones.
"Park Jimin." He said firmly as she stayed silent, trying not to giggle. She finally clapped eyes on a dress that looked like it would suffice. She pulled it out. "Taehyung - I swear to God -"
"You're always picking on that poor boy!" She laughed. Jimin went silent at her words.
"Paige-ah, I was just thinking about you."
"I bet you were..." She teased as she looked through her shoes.
"I don't like this Paige. I want you here with me. Long distance relationships don't suit me." She scoffed.
"Jimin-ah. Long distance usually means on the other side of the country at least. Not the other side of the city." Paige informed him as she dried herself off.
"It feels like the opposite side of the world." He muttered as Paige smacked her lips.
"Stop being cute."
"Are you sure you don't want to come over here? I can make it worth your while..." She'd be lying if she said she wasn't tempted but she had plans tonight. Plans she had to see through.
"I have business to attend to tonight Jimin-ah. As do you, you need to focus on finding Yoongi and Namjoon. Try to be patient. I promised I would make it up to you, didn't I?" He sighed exaggeratedly down the phone.
"Fineee. What business do you have to see to?" He suddenly asked her and she immediately clammed up. She couldn't tell him. He had to focus on Namjoon and Yoongi.
"A lot of our assets have become obsolete. I need to secure them." Jimin agreed, clearly buying what she was selling.
"I'm going to have to love you and leave you my darling. Hoseok has just come back and he seems excited."
"Nothing new there then, pass my love along to the boys."
"And what about me?"
"Bye Jimin-ah. I'll speak to you later!"
"Paige..." His voice was low and husky as he spoke in warning. She giggled, rolling her eyes.
"I love you Jimin. Are you happy now?"
"Yes. Love you. Bye." He said simply before hanging up. She laughed, placing the phone down on the bed.
She changed into the dress that she had picked out. It was a slim fitting red dress with a lace neckline and full length sleeves. It fell to her mid-thigh. She paired it with a sensible heel, just to be safe.
