Paige couldn't sleep that night, Jimin's words were running circles around her head to the point that they were making her sick. Or was that the morning sickness? She wasn't sure.
She climbed out of the bed, throwing on a dressing gown that was hanging up as she walked over to the balcony, peering out at the lake.
Was this all about to be pulled out from under her? What was it that Jimin wanted to talk to her about? And why couldn't he talk about it right away?
Her hand brushed her stomach as she sighed. She could hear Jimin waking up behind her. He was muttering her name. At first it was because he couldn't find her. After that, he was trying to catch her attention but she was in her own world. Jimin's voice sounding like it was underwater. Two firm arms wrapped around her waist, his chin nestling into her shoulder.
"Have you been awake long, darling?" His breath was warm against her neck, his hair tickling her as he nuzzled against her.
"I've only been up an hour or so." Paige lied, not wanting Jimin to worry. His lips brushed against her chin as his arms held her tight.
"Are you worrying about Sehun?" Paige nodded lightly. She should have been worrying about Sehun, but all she could think about was what Jimin was wanting to talk to her about.
"Among other things..." Paige sighed. "I've got a lot on my mind at the moment. It's difficult to shut off."
"I'm always here for you to sound off too Paige-ah. Whatever it is, I'll always listen." He placed his chin on top of her head, looking over the lake.
"Last night, you said you wanted to talk to me about something. Are you bored of this?" Paige spoke what was on her mind, prompting a laugh from Jimin. He span her around to face him, looking over her face with a look of amusement in his eyes.
"You're so silly Paige." He kissed her forehead. "Have you been up all night worrying about this?" Paige nodded lightly as she started to blush, feeling stupid. "I promise you, you have nothing to worry about. I just didn't want to talk about it before I have all the information. We'll talk about it at dinner tonight." She sighed in relief.
"Just as long as nothing's wrong-" Jimin pulled Paige in for a hug.
"Where you're concerned - it's always right." His lips brushed hers sweetly as he stroked her hair. "Today I thought we could relax a little before dinner later. Whatever you want to do." Paige contemplated it.
"It looks beautiful out there. I think I'd like to go for a walk." The air would do her good and she needed the quiet to prepare what she was going to say to Jimin about this whole pregnancy.
A few hours later
Paige and Jimin had walked around the forest for a while, conversation scarce. They held hands the entire time and that was enough. They enjoyed the quiet together, the peace. Jimin had sent her to freshen up while he started preparing dinner. The sickness had subsided but she still had an uneasy feeling in her stomach. She cast a glance at her phone while she was running the water.
