The gun clicked as Jackson looked to Paige, a knowing smile spreading across his face.

"I - I saw you load it." She stuttered in disbelief.

"You saw what I wanted you to see and you exactly how I predicted you would. I'm far from impressed, Paige." His gun pushed painfully into her throat as she swallowed roughly. "I'll deal with you later though. We have all the time in the world." He pulled her in closer with his free arm as his fingertips caressed her waist. Her father ran at Jackson, hand reaching for his own gun. Jackson turned his gun on him lazily, shooting him directly in the kneecap. Her father fell to the floor with a crack, landing in a heap as his gun span halfway across the warehouse floor.

Paige screamed trying to push herself forward so that she could attend to her father. Jackson held her tightly, shh-ing against her hair. Jimin moved to her father's side in her place, helping him into a sitting position.

"Now this - this is fun." Jackson commented as Mr Kim glared at him, clutching his bleeding knee. "Don't worry Paige. One of them still has a chance to get out of here. The only thing you've spoiled is your chance to choose for yourself..." He seemed excited, giddy almost. It was depraved. "An acquaintance of mine made me a very intricate contraption. I've been just dying to try it out." He dragged her with him, holding onto her tightly with his gun still lodged underneath her chin.

He led her to what looked like a small stage in the far corner. There were two plates and it was connected up to a generator that stood behind it. Paige looked to Jackson anxiously.

What was he planning?

"Let her go." Jimin growled from behind Jackson. He had approached from behind while he was distracted, his gun digging into the back of his head.

Jackson just laughed

Jackson just laughed.

"Are you fucking stupid, Park Jimin? Or did you just lie when you claimed to love her?"

"I think you love yourself far more than you love Paige. I swear, I'll shoot you dead where you stand." Jimin's teeth were gritted, his voice low and sturdy.

"And even if you do shoot me, she'll still be dead. Think before you act Park Jimin. Give me your gun - now." Jimin's head fell against his chest as he dropped his gun, walking back to her father. Jackson watched him with amusement before he removed his gun from Paige's throat.

"No!" Paige screamed but it was too late. Jackson had already shot Jimin in the knee. He fell to his knees, wincing but not making a sound.

"It's only fair to put them on equal footing." Jackson's hand snaked around Paige's waist, his fingertips enough to make her skin crawl.

"Wang!" Mr Kim shouted to get his attention. "You're a fucking dead man, you hear me? You've just signed your own fucking warrant! Now get your filthy paws from my daughter before I tear them from your wrists!" Jackson chuckled as Mr Kim went bright red in the face from anger.
