Tonight we were holding our first house party. One I didn't know about until I woke up to Sophie having a nervous breakdown.
"Did you know we were having a party tonight?" she all but yelled at me.
"No, I didn't. But I guess now I do. Why what's the problem Peapot?" I yawned, and sat up in the bed, seeing how distressed she was.
"I can't go stay with my brother tonight because he is at his girlfriends house and Adam said that all housemates must attended and I don't have an excuse" she was screeching and pacing around the room.
"Okay, Soph, come sit down" I rubbed the spot just in front of me on the bed until she came and sat down and then I grabbed her hand.
"Well peapot this is what we are going to do okay, we are going to go out and we are going to get some sexy, but comfy outfits to wear tonight and then we are going to come here and get ready. And then if it's really shitty and we really don't wanna be there we are going to march upstairs and into our room and have a party of our own. How's that sound?" I smiled at her and waited.
"Well... I guess. But if you're having fun, you don't have to..."
"Sophie, you're my girl. If you're not having fun than the two of us our out of there, okay?"
Sophie lunged at me and gave me a big hug.
"I love you" she smiled at me as she got off my bed and went to shower.
As soon as she was in the other room I dropped back onto my bed.

"So where are the food shops around here?"
Sophie and I were eating breakfast in the kitchen and deciding where exactly where we were going to spend today.
"Did I just here you say shopping?" Matt walked in with an expression of disbelief.
"You heard right there Matteo" I slapped him on the arm as he came to a stop beside me
"Ew. Don't call me that you know I hate it" he said with a small frown on his face.
"Well Sophie and I are going shopping to get some outfits for tonight"
"Oh well best of luck with all that" he smiled and walked past us and outside.
"So I'm thinking The Cove. It's a mall that we have about a 20 minute drive from here, and we can take my car" Sophie said simply.
"Alright. Done let's go"

A few hours later we were sitting in our room, dressed and waiting for Bridget to be done curling my hair. It took us a little while to realise that neither one of us were useful with a curling iron.
"Thanks Bridget" I smiled in the mirror as I looked at my hair now cascading down the sides of my face in neat curls.
"No problem lovely" she smiled at me before leaving the room. That left just me and Sophie in the room. She had been sitting on her bed for the last twenty minutes silently fiddling with her rings.
"Now, remember the plan Soph. One of us has a shitty time both of us leave and come up here to have our own little party" I smiled at her. Today after getting our outfits I decided that it would be a good idea to get some junk food just so Sophie knew I was being serious. That if she was uncomfortable we would come back up here no problem.
"Yeah I know" she mumbled.
I sat down in front of her and grabbed her hand into my mine.
"It's going to be fine okay. I am going to be right next to you the whole time" I gave her hands a quick squeeze and a little grin.
