"Allegra? Yes I was talking about Jeremy! Is he there? Holy shit Al is he there....."

"Matt I have to go" I didn't wait for a reply before I hung up.

I didn't move from my position on my bed and just stared at the boy in front of me.

"Allegra....I"

Before he could get anything out Carter was there pushing him back out the door.

"Alright bud, get the fuck out. She doesn't want to see you and I don't want to see you so get the fuck out." he was ridged in his stance and Jeremy's eyebrows shot up by the end of his speech.

"Carter" I started.

"No it's all good Allegra, I got this under control. Jeremy. Out. Now." his voice menacing as he shoved him back with every sentence.

Jeremy's whole demeanour changed as he was shoved back.

"Yeah, that's not going to happen, sorry mate" and in a fast movement Jeremy shoved Carter out of the way and slammed the door and locked it behind him.

It seems that the slamming door knocked me out of whatever silence I had been in.

"What do you want Jeremy?" my voice was just as cold as Carters'.

He stopped and just stared at me before coming to sit in front of me on the bed. He paused again and then grabbed my face in between his hands.

He looked into my eyes, before speaking.

"I love you" his eyes were so sincere as he stared at me.

"I didn't come here to say that I couldn't live without you, I can...." I stared blankly at him when he said that, but my emotions got the better of me and my eyes started to well up in tears. 

"I just don't want to, because I love you" by the end of his short speech I was crying, and not a pretty cry, like a sob, with snot leaking out off your nose and your face crinkled up like a drowned rat.

I pulled back, not wanting for him to touch me when I was looking like that. 

"Baby, please say something... I don't care whether it is just telling me to get the fuck out, even though I was hoping for something else." he moved closer again, and then grabbed my hand in his. 

"Allegra?" his eyes pierced into mine and I couldn't move. I'm pretty sure that I was in shock. 

"Okay, maybe this was all too much, I'm going to go, and you can think about what I said, and yeah" he let go of my leg and stared at me before getting up and moving towards the door and scratching the back off his head and looking back over his shoulder as he walked through the door. 

I sat there staring at the door, unmoving from the position that he had left me in. 

"So you just going to sit there being a dumbass or you going to get the fuck outside?" 

Carter blocked the previous staring competition I had been having with the door. 

"What?" I asked, still in a daze after what had happened. 

"Are you going to sit here or you going to chase after your man?" he said clearly and slowly. 

I stared at my younger brother, wondering how he got so wise. He gave me a smile and a nod, as if to say it was okay, and that's all it took for me to start running through the door. 

I had successfully made it through the front door to see Jeremy walking towards his car in the driveway. 

"Jer, wait" I yelled out and ran towards him. He turned around at the sound of my voice, just in time to catch me as I launched myself at him. 

I secured my arms around his neck and legs wrapped around his waist, and then smashed my lips against his. 

It took him a while to process what was happening, but not long after he was kissing me back. I kissed him with everything I had, and pulled back and said, 

"I love you too Jer, always have, always will"

"So ... when did you get here?" I asked a few moments later. Once my feet where securely on the ground. 

"About an hour ago, that was when the plane landed and then I came straight here" he smiled at me and tucked the hair back behind my ear. 

My grin grew even more as he stared down at me. God I loved this oversized giant. 

"What?" he had a puzzled look on his face as he stared at me, I shook my head and let out a slight laugh. 

"Nothing... I'm just happy" I gave him a quick peck, and smiled. 

Looking at him I couldn't help but laugh. 

"What is so funny now Al?"  he gave me an odd look but i couldnt help but laugh evben harder. 

"Your mum told me this would happen" I stated as he stared at me blankly. 

"Told you what would happen?"  he asked confused. 

""That when we got to America you would realise how much I loved you.. and how mych you loved me... I can't believe that she I am saying this but she was right" I smiled at him and kissed him again. 

"And I can't wait to find out what happens next" my hands wrapped around his neck as I smiled up at him. 

"But you are going to have to do some serious work to win back over Carter... Becuase as of right now he wants to kick your ass" I laughed and walked back towards our house. 

"That is going to be a hard one! Might need a hand with that babe!" he called our after me. 

"Oh hunny, with that one you are all on your own!"
