I watched his stomach rise and fall as my hands moved along his waist, his eyes found mine and in an instant a smile was placed on his beautiful lips "I wish I could be this close to you always." he murmured wrapping his arms around my body, I smiled as his fingers traced shapes into my sides "It's nice just being here with you, no one else around.." he leans down to place a chaste kiss onto my lips, I push the loose curls from his face and trace my thumb on his cheek "It's like through all the messed up things going on in the world I can come home and spend time with you and be happy. Not everyone has that Ash." he smiles lightly as I continue "I'm just lucky to have found someone that can tune everything else out." one of his hands reaches up to cup my cheek "I'm the luckiest man in the world you know why?" he asks and I shrug, the smile on his lips grows bigger as he speaks "I go to the studio, or to signings, or interviews, or concerts constantly and it can be tiring. It's amazing though because I get to do what I love and I'm grateful for that, but I've found my sweet escape when I'm alone with you. Every time I'm with you I don't have to worry about acting a certain way or being someone else, I can come home and be myself and just spend time with the person I love. I don't have to worry about rumors, or paparazzi, or anything else when I'm here, because I feel safe with you. I love you so much Y/n and I feel like I don't tell you enough, but I really do." tears brim my eyes and one slips down my cheek and I chuckle wiping it away "You will never truly understand how much you mean to me Ashton. I love you so much and I hope you know that." I lean in to kiss him wrapping my arms around his neck, one hand on my waist and the other to keep him hovered above me, I pull him down more as he kisses me back, his soft lips press deeper into mine as we just stay like this. His tongue slips into my mouth as I let him and I hum into his mouth, we pull away panting slightly, we say nothing, but lay back down as his arms pull me to spoon against him, my back against his chest. I can feel his heartbeat against my back as he presses soft kisses to my cheek and jaw, our hands intertwine and I sigh taking in a deep breath as we just lay there in silence.
