Mark's POV "Mark, help...... I am not able to move, I guess something is holding me back.... Mark please help me! I don't wanna die so soon."
At first, I was shocked and terrified. I must say Jean is a very good actor. Her facial expressions were perfect but I knew that she was lying to me. Her non-stop babbling was the proof. Jeanette cannot lie, I knew this thing very well. Though she tries her best but for her, lying always turns into some stupid babbling. I was really impressed by her all this 'act' and decided to show this girl that she was playing with fire.
I ran towards her and shouted "Jean! give me your hand." As soon as I came near her, I shoved her back with full force and started laughing so hard that I couldn't hold back my tears.
"What the hell Mark? You jerk." She cried. Just a few minutes back she was shouting, I mean she is still shouting but now to a different context, not to forget glaring at me so hard that I was not even able to blink.
"Oh! My poor girl, are you fine? I hope you didn't loose some of the screws from your head" I said mocking with fake tears.
"Mark this is not fair. You proved that you are not my friend because if you were then you would have helped me ... At least act to your age what if I was really in trouble?....what if I would die?...I was just...um...checking how much strong our friendship is and you-"
"STOP" I shouted, if she started this again then we would end up not talking to each other for a whole week.
Here we go again, whenever her prank goes in dark she starts giving stupid reasons that is her so-called way of babbling. I really hate being in this situation where I need to close her mouth before the lava erupts.
"First, stop babbling. Second, don't you talk about dying because I know you were lying and still trying to do the same. If you were really in trouble then I would have really helped you, I will never leave you alone. Third, the thing about our friendship then you and me both know we don't need any test, taking this as an excuse won't help you anymore." I finished.
Jean was silent maybe thinking, what to say or trying to take in whatever I said. I guess, she was embarrassed that I got to know she was lying. Whatever the reason must be, she was looking cute while bitting her inner cheek as she always does while thinking. Her blue eyes were radiant, sparkling like lightning which breaks through the storm clouds, yet a little bright shining as it did under a soft morning light and her face was beautifully framed with thick long lashes, and a small smile warmer than the gentle sun.
Next thing was, I broke that thick sheet of silence "By the way, Jean... "
"Yes? "
"The thing about, I should act my age. How is that possible? As I have never been this age before."
This remark was enough with which we both started laughing.
"Hey, Mark! Where were you guys?Emilia and I were searching you for an hour or so?" This boy always has some kind of problem for interrupting good things.
Some people are like unwanted clouds. When they disappear it's a beautiful day. This some people is 'him'.
"Dash, we both were enjoying our day on this lovely beach with the smell of fresh air, birds chirping their song, feeling the cool sand, listening to waves crashing the shore until-" before I could finish, Jean elbowed me.
"Mark is just kidding guys. Trying to be funny." Continued Jean. I wanted to say 'no' but the way she was glaring at me was like a predator about to take its next hunt.
"Man, you really have a weird sense of humour." he said.
"Weird is a side-effect of awesomeness." I said giving him an innocent smile. Before we could argue further Emilia stopped us. Rising a question "What are we going to do next? I guess we all are tired and hungry. There is no more snacks left, we have not yet planned where we are having our night stay?"
"Hey! Are we having a night stay? Nobody informed me." Dash pouted.
Because you are not invited. I wanted to say.
"Dash we assumed that you are free the whole day. If not, then it is alright." Emilia reasoned with him.
"Emilia I am always free for you.... for you guys. If you would have informed me before, we could have this night stay at my house as my parents are out of town but just an hour back my brother said he is throwing a party tonight. So, now we don't have any chance." Dash said, looking annoyed. I guess, he has some kind of family issues.
"It is okay Dash we can have it, in my house. My parents are home but it won't bother much. What say?" Jean asked. "Yeah, it's fine. " "Okay. " "Perfect. "
With this Dash took Emilia towards his car and told us that, they would come to Jean place together. Though I didn't want them to go together but as I did not have my car, I had to let them go.
"Mark glaring at them won't make any difference. Let's go! We don't want them to reach before us, do we?" Jean said with a glint of excitement in her eyes.
Yes! This was the perfect chance. With that hotttyyy, I was damn sure we will win.
"It's a race!" I shouted towards Dash, before he could close the door of his car.
