Mark's POV

It was all white. I was sitting in a room but I couldn't move. Several other people were sitting beside me. STARING. Not at me, but ahead on a white wall. I tried to speak as all the words came out all mute.

Suddenly out of nowhere the wall in front of us started reflecting Something... Images... No, It was a video clip. It felt like we were about to watch a movie as that dead silence and my mute self deduced it to be a scary one.

I don't know, what was I doing here!? I tried to move but felt myself paralyzed. When on a spur of the moment, I heard someone shouting. Abruptly I looked up as my eyes focused on the screen of that white wall. There was a girl... Running. Tears were screaming down her face as the sorrow of pain pitter-pattered down the soles of her shoes hitting the track. Her electric blue eyes had freckles of black hopeless appeal. But the thing that made me inquisitive even more was a boy running behind her. Who kept on saying 'Stop, you are not safe.'

It was not long when the girl came to halt in a middle of a road, there was car speeding past the same road and I wanted to shout right at that moment for her to move. But, I couldn't as I noticed that same boy was now just behind her, who shoved her on the right of the path way.

And that's when I felt my brain retaining few more memories. Pictures after pictures flashed up and down as the last one was of that same girl who said 'Come Back, Mark! Don't break your promise.'

Mark? Car Accident? Promise?

As that foggy mist cleared up my mind, the first word that came out was "Jeanette"

With which everything became black Again.

It felt as if an octopus was shaking me up and down

It felt as if an octopus was shaking me up and down. Instead, it was several pair of hands holding me down. I could sense my heart, beating faster than Usain Bolt as someone pumped up my chest. Things went on in all fast forward play button as some involuntary motion made my eyes open up a bit.
