Mark's POV

"Wohoooo!! "

"Mark calm down. It was just a simple race!!!"

"Jean, that smudged look on his face when we took that 180° straight sharp cut with this hoty made my day."

At this moment, I was at the top of the world. I can't believe myself for the first time after practising for like two long months, finally I was able to do a Cliff  Hanger and then that 180° straight sharp cut. We started out late so there were 10% chances of our winning, but just that last risk we took changed the whole game.

I know this was just a simple and useless game, but the thing was Dash was the kind of person who always gets what he wants and is never ready to be beaten in anything. The best thing was his facial expression when we passed his car.

"Whatever Mark, they must be here soon. Let's head inside."
With this I followed her into her through the big mahogany door. Jean was really lucky having a gorgeous house. Her parents were the biggest fan of automobiles I knew, with all the latest model cars parked in front path followed by a beautiful small fountain at the center. Jean's mom loved gardening, so they have a small pond and a number of flowering  shrubs, with the chattering of birds that always overwhelmed me. Though I have been there thousand of times but every visits bring somewhat new kind of feeling.

Just as we entered her house, I was welcomed with the heavenly smell of cookies. Yes, her mom and dad were like perfect chefs as well.

"Hey! Marky. How are you doing kid? It's been a long time."said her dad, Paul . He seriously needs to stop calling me Marky. I have requested him more than a century counts.

Jean's dad had perfect cheekbones and jawline with the most cheerful brown eyes I have ever seen. His dark brown hair just like that of Jean are always styled perfectly- sometimes I wonder how much gel he uses for his flawless hair. The best part about him is his warm smile that can be seen even in the toughest times. What I also wonder about was the perfection that runs in the family.

"I am grand, Paul. I guess we just met last Sunday."

"That is a long time, kiddo."

"Anyways how is life, Paul?" I questioned because if you're a wise person, you never, ever argue with him.

"My life is right now like that Rihanna's song.... work, work, work and the rest I don't understand." He chuckled after giving this remark.

"DAD!?"

"Oh! I have missed your sarcasm. So much...where did you get this new one!?" I said laughing with him.

"Just the usual, but Mark after all these years you should be aware about my love for sarcasm. Sometimes it's like punching people in the face, but with words. Once what I said to my boss-" before he could continue Jean stopped him.
