Chapter 2: Training

*Avyanna*

"Can you try all elements?" Andy asked.
"I'll try," I said. The room was made out of cement, so it was easy to tear some parts and turn them into dust. There was a cup of water there, and they had a fire place. I started with the wind going in circles with dust combining in making it a dust storm. The water was joining as well, but once it got to the fire. I couldn't no more. My heart started to pound fast as a running horse. I let everything fall, and I joined in it by falling.
"Are you okay?" Brandon asked from a distance.
"I can't do it! It's so hard," I said panting.
"You can! You're just not ready," Andy said helping me sit up. I looked deeply in his eyes, by accident. I blushed, and I saw him smirk at me. "You have a powerful ability. I am just helping you control it."
"I know. I guess I have to be in a emotion for me to do this," I told him. I knew after this I said the worst thing ever. An idea came up to his head, and you can tell when he has an idea. He is happiest person alive, and I can't deny it but it's pretty hot.
"Hayden, do your thing!" he said.
"Ugh," I commented.
"For what? Pissing her off?" he asked. He must of nodded. "Okay then." I don't know how, but I connected to the ground. I scanned the whole area, and saw cop cars coming to our location.
"Guys!" I called. "We need to go! They're coming."
"Avyanna, we're fine! They can't find us," Hayden said until we heard the sirens.
"Let's go!" I said running to the back. I stopped at the back doors because I was trying to make a wall to give us time.
"Avyanna! What are you doing?" Andy rushed. The wall crumbled up as an earthquake. It was high enough for it to touch the ceiling of the first floor. I started to join them, but a cop got me. "No!"

They got the taser and put it to my stomach. I screamed in pain until I absorbed the electricity. I turned into an energy ball until I used the energy against him. I pushed him away, and he was dead with one touch. My body still had enough electricity to kill a dozen people. I was shivering in fear and pointed at the cars. I shot out lightning out of my index finger, and it blew me away like it literally blew me to the middle of the street.

"Avyanna!" Andy called. I was hurt. My back hurt from the explosion, so Andy carried me. I felt good after 5 minutes.
"Andy...let's take a break," I said.
"No!" he panted. "They're still following us!"
"Then take me to a library," I said getting off his arms.
"Avyanna, come back!" he panted. I went behind him, and saw this Fire Hydrant. It gave this idea.
"Avyanna! You're going to get us killed!" Hayden yelled at me.
"I have a plan! Just let me attempt it!" I begged. 
"All your attempt get us killed! Don't try!" Hayden yelled at me. I ignored him and made my tornado. I added water from the fire hydrant, and the cops were getting closer. "Avyanna! Stop! You're so stubborn! Why can't you do anything right!?" Hayden yelled at me. I grabbed chunks of concrete and added them into my tornado. Little by little, they turned into dust. I just needed fire. "Avyanna! Why would we risk our lived for you if you're willing to put us in danger! You're such an ungrateful bitch!" That crossed my line. Instead of getting made fire, I made my own fire. I added it into my tornado. I made it go to the direction that the cops were going.
"Run!" I yelled. We were running to the library. After we lost them, we started walking to take our breath back. Andy hugged me tightly.
"You did it! Yes! That was awesome! I never knew you can make your own fire!" Andy shouted excitedly.
"Me neither!" I said with the same tone.
"I called you that for you to get your strength," Hayden said hugging me.
"How did you knew what I was doing?" I asked him. He pointed to Brandon.
"He told me what your plan was, so I encouraged it. We need to work on stuff like that," he chuckled. We heard an explosion, and I connected to the ground now. I scanned the whole area again, and saw a tank coming our way.
"We need to hide! Now!" I shouted.
"What is it now?" Brent asked.
"A tank is coming around the corner. We need to move off the streets," I said. I turned to see an alley across the street. "Let's go over there!" I pointed out. I ran over there to just see me staring. I saw the shadow of the tank turning around the corner. They were just staring at me, and then I wanted to know what made them froze. I turn around to see this black smoky shadow behind me. For me, it looked familiar, but I didn't know from where.  It was coming towards me. I ran back to Andy, but it just pointed to the direction the tank was going. I looked over to see a library.
"Avyanna," Andy called. "Do you know that shadow?"
"It looks familiar, but I don't know why it was there. It pointed to the library, and it's over there," I said pointing as the same direction it was pointing too. "Let's go. I need to find out why it was there and my past. Teleport us, Andy." We all hugged Andy, and he took us to the library. I opened my eyes and it was a huge library. I looked up my name just incase I was a myth or something, and I wasn't there. I looked up the first person that had this power.
