*Avyanna*
"Storm, where professor Xavier?" I asked, and her expression saddens.
"They took him," she answered, and I just look at Andy.
"We need him. We need to go get him," I demanded as I started walking to the direction of the city. He grabbed my arm to stop me.
"We can't," he snapped, and I walked close to him.
"Why not? Without him, we would've still been in the streets," I answered, and he gave me an unconvinced face.
"We're not going, Avyanna. It's too late," he said softly, but I yank my arm back.
"No. You're not going," I answered, and I grabbed my knife and leather jacket.
"Avyanna, stop it! You can't save him anymore!" Andy yelled at me as he grabbed my knife and threw it somewhere. "He's dead! You don't know what me and Brandon saw when you weren't there." I looked away.
"If I don't convince you, you won't convince me," I said leaving my knife where he threw it. I walked to the city, but he teleported to me. He tackled me and put my wrist against the floor.
"I'm sorry, but you have to be safe. Brandon, read," he demanded, and I looked at Brandon. He nodded, and went to go get something. He came back with a rope.
"I'm sorry, but you have to let me," I said as I kicked between his legs. He rolled over, and I did the same thing with him but I used rock as cuffs. Brandon grabbed my forearm and twisted it, and pulled me to the ground. He put his weight on my stomach, so since I was flexible, I put my legs around his torso and pushed him back. I rolled back to land on my feet, and I run to the city with nothing on me. Just my jacket. I hurry up before Brandon breaks Andy's hand cuffs to teleport to me. He didn't catch up to me, so I walked normally, and I got the shot since it didn't affect me. I walked to the lab the we were held in, and I climbed all the way. Once I got to the top, I walked to the door, and open it. They were filled with guards pointing there guns at me.
"Leave her," a man demanded, and he shoved him way through the guards. It was the man I thought had killed. "She is the one I want," he ta-zing me. I didn't want to give away my power, so I just absorbed it. I blacked out for so much energy I held.*Andy*
"How can you loose her?!" I yelled at Brandon, and he looked as stressful as I did.
"I thought getting you out was a better option, okay?" he explained. I ran my fingers through my hair, and I couldn't think of a plan.
"We have to go get her," Evelyn suggested.
"We can't without getting noticed," I answered, and she just squinted her eyes at me.
"No, you just don't want to go back in there. Why?" she asked, and I just got confused.
"Avyanna has so much power, and I don't want to watch kill anyone else," I explained, and she just rolled her eyes.
"Andy, you have to go get her," Ben demanded out of nowhere.
"Why? Why is it now very important?" I asked, and Ben was giving me a serious face. I looked at Brandon, and he looked worried too.
"She got captured by the researcher," he answered, and now it was a mission.
"Okay. Get whatever you need, and let's go," I said as I got my suit on and went off to the city. I grabbed them to teleport them into the city, and we walked to the lab once we did.
"Here we are," I sighed. They both wrapped their arms around me, and I teleport them again inside the building. We hurried off to the cells they were in, and I saw her in a kind of gel. She was asleep, and she had so many scars everywhere this quick. I open her cell, and I stick my hand to grab her. She quickly snapped her head at me, but she wasn't the same. Her eyes were glowing red, and she had glowing black symbols on her arms.
"Avyanna?" Brandon called worried and hurt. She grabbed my suit, and pulled me up to her face. I knew that this wasn't the Avyanna that left us.
"Avyanna, look at me right in the eyes. Remember yourself, find yourself inside," I shouted in the gel. She looked at me while her hands started glowing. They were white as snow then during pitch black as the ones on her arm. I shook my head in disbelief. She threw me hard to the floor, and I slid on the tile.
"Andy, what's going on?" Evelyn asked.
"They took off her connection of the light spirit," I explained.
"Good, right?" a man in a lab coat asked, and we back away.
"You don't know what you've done," I said between my teeth, and he laughed.
"No, I know what I've done. That's why I done it," he chuckled, and anger started boiling inside me.
"She was made from spirits, and killing her connections with the spirits is just the wrong choice," I explained.
"If she was made from spirits, wouldn't she been a spirit?" he asked. I look at Avyanna, and she was looking at me as her enemy. I walked toward, and pulled her out. She grabbed hold on Brandon by the blood capability, and started choking him in the air. I jumped right in front of her.
"Avyanna, the day that we kissed. Remember Brandon. Remember when you destroyed the city. Remember when we left you at the desert. Remember when you tried to kill me!" I shouted, and her eyes were turning into a light pink. I didn't know what that color meant, so I back away a little. Brandon fell on the floor gasping for breath, and Evelyn went to check if he was alright.
"I do," she said softly.
"Do me a favor and find your inner self," I begged softly, and she closed her eyes.
"What are you doing?" he asked Avyanna.
"Finding myself," she said, and the guards pointed a gun at me.
"Back away now," they demanded, and I started doing the same thing Avyanna was doing. I look up to see both of our hands glowing. We put our hands together, and we had them touching. She then started glowing. The men started shooting her, but the glow was a invincible shield. Until she finish, she was okay.
"Andy?" she asked, and they fired at her.
"Avyanna!" we all screamed, and the lab coat guy was laughing. I went to the guy and grabbed his coat. The men started pointing their guns at me.
"Go ahead. Say the command," I threaten. He didn't say nothing, so I teleported him to the roof top of the building to have him dangling on the edge.
"No! No, please!" he begged.
"This time your death is permanent," I said dropping him, and I teleported back to the place.
"Where is he?" the guard.
"I left him outside the building," I answered, and they rushed over there.
"Avyanna, what happened?" Brandon asked her, but she wasn't the same still.
"I don't know. I don't know what's going on," she cried as tears started to pour down her eyes.
"Andy, what do we do?" Evelyn asked, but I was just clueless.
"Without me knowing, I can't help you, Avyanna. Tell me what they did to you," I said softly, and she was calming down. She started thinking, but she couldn't remember anything.
"Andy, I can go through her memory to open it up," Brandon suggested.
"Would it hurt?" Avyanna asked with a worried expression.
"No, but you have to try with me," Brandon explained, but we heard marching to our direction.
"We have to do this another time," I said as I pick Avyanna up, but she was dizzy for the inner self crap. I put my arm under her leg and one behind her back, and I went off carrying her.
"Andy, if we don't have her remember us right now, she won't know how to fight. She has to have them remember by heart, and she'll remember everything. It's now or never," Brandon explained as we started running.
"Can't you do it by distance?" I asked.
"No, it's a deeper connection, so I need a stronger connection," he explained.
"Fine," I said going to a room. "Evelyn, we have to distract them while he get her memory back," I said handing her to Brandon.
"Okay, but if we get lost?" she asked.
"If we get lost then, we find our way out," I answered. The room was filled with a lot of furniture. I started blocking the door by putting the furniture in the way, and Evelyn started helping.
"What if we need to get out?" Brandon asked.
"Then I'll teleport you out," I answered as I grabbed Evelyn to teleport us out. The guards were searching.
"Hey! We're over here!" Evelyn yelled as she started make noise by hitting things. I whistled, and we finally caught their attention. We started running, and they started following us. We started dropping books, chair, and shelves to keep them a little distracted. They started firing and a couple bullets went into my leg. It got harder to move with the pain.
"Evelyn, I'm shot!" I shouted, and she stopped with me. I collapsed to the ground, and Evelyn was right there by my side.
"Aren't you supposed to be regenerating?" I asked, but I shrug.
"Yeah! I'm pretty sure," I answered, and the men got closer with their guns. Suddenly, a metal shelf comes out of no where, and hits all of them in the back. With that, they all get knocked out. Avyanna stands there with her hands out, and she comes rushing towards me.
"I remembered, and what happened?" I asked.
"I got shot," I answered, and she gave me a confused look.
"Aren't you supposed to be regenerating?" I asked, and I gave her a shrug too. A slow applause came around the corner.
"Congratulations! Team work!" he said annoyingly.
"How are you still alive? You're supposed to be dead," I asked confused.
"Are you sure?" he asked.
"Twice?" Avyanna asked herself then she glared at him. "You're a mutant! But how can you know me?"
"Sweetheart, remember the time where I took you in Seattle?" he asked.*Avyanna's Flashback*
I woke up in a bed that wasn't even mine. This wasn't even my room, nor anyone else's that I know of. I tried to get up, but I was tied up. I looked at myself and saw nothing, but a scar on my chest. I looked around to see glass walls or I should said one-sided mirrors. I just needed help, and I knew I couldn't get out of here on my own. I think.
"Where am I?" I asked myself. I couldn't move and that made me uncomfortable. I started pulling and tugging hard enough to hear something ripped. I wanted to look, but I couldn't. I kept doing what I was doing until one of my wrist bands came out. I unleashed myself with that hand. I was this type of hospital dress, and walked around. I looked at the room more clearly, and there was something in the corners. They weren't exactly corners, but cut corners to stuff something in there which I don't know what. A speaker shouted my name.
"What do you want from me?!" I cried. "Why am I so special to you?!"
"You have a power, Avyanna. Can you show it to us?" the speaker asked.*End of Flashback*
*Avyanna*
"You're the one! You're the one that shot me at the alley! You were the asking me to show you my power!" I cried, but I was still confused.
"I wanted to know why you were there at Xavier's school if you were a human," he explained.
"How would you know I was a human? How would you know if I was at the school?" I asked, and he pressed him lips.
"Avyanna, stay away from him," Brandon warned, so I did.
"Why? All I wanted was to take the leadership that you guys had on mutants," he said revealing a gun.
"So you're a mutant?" I asked, and he just fired at me. Evelyn blocked the shot from hitting me. She fell, so I went to her. I look up to see him, but he left.
"Oh, Evelyn! No!" Brandon cried, so I guess he liked her. Bad time to find out that. I ran into the lab, and got some tweezers and water. I ran back, and Brandon was holding her with a face burst in tears. Andy just crawled right next to her.
"Brandon, give her CPR," I demanded, and he looked at me with a tear streaked face. "Do it if you want her alive," I threatened, and he started pumping her chest. I left the water and the tweezers right next to her. I went to go get a oxygen mask for her, and I came back with Brandon still doing CPR. I put the mask on her, and started the pump thing. I grabbed the tweezers to get the bullet out of her, and Brandon got disgusted and looked away. I started healing her.
"Brandon, go check for ammunition just like this," I said, handing him the bullet. He gagged a little, and I rolled my eyes. "Clean it with water first then," I said annoyed, and I kept healing her. Andy started regenerating, and started to walk around.
"Anything you need me to do?" he asked, and I nodded.
"Go help Brandon," I said as Evelyn started gasping for breath. Brandon just quickly stop searching and rushed over here. Andy did that same, but he came calmly at least. He handed me a packet, and I looked at them.
"Do you know what they are?" Brandon asked, and I nodded.
"Anti-mutant medicine," I answered, and Brandon gave me a worried.
"How do you know?" Andy asked, and I turned it over. It was labeled as Anti-Mutant medication. Evelyn looked at Andy, and he started acting weird. He wrapped his arms around, and I looked at him. His caramel colored eyes were a neon purple.
"My power! It's back!" she cried, and I looked at her.
"Okay, but can you bring Andy back?" I asked nicely, and Andy collapsed their body on me.
"We're going back home?" Brandon asked, and I shrug in a lie.
"If you want to see Charles, he is in there," Evelyn said pointing behind me. I saw samples of blood, and I saw his name in one of them. There was so many names, and I figured it out.
"Avyanna, what wrong?" Andy asked as I flinched when he put his hands on my shoulders.
"The researcher isn't what he says he is! He is not doing research to know about mutants," I explained, but they looked confused.
"Then why would he use the mutants besides research?" Brandon asked.
"These are mutant blood samples, and he has ours. That means he can gain any power that he wants. He just needs a cell of that kind," I explained, and they looked terrified.
"Then he must be going to the forest! He had Charles sample which means he read our minds!" Andy said leading us.
"Andy, we can't do this on our own! He has so many abilities that not even us can defeat," I reasoned, and he squinted his eyes at me.
"Aren't they more mutants in here?" Brandon suggested, so I rushed to the cells.
"They're all empty," Evelyn panicked.
"We can be armed," Andy suggested, and I thought of it.
"He is using mutants material cells isn't he?" I asked going back for the ammunition. I grabbed it, and I got some weapons out. I wanted to see which ones would help shoot it. I found the same one he did. I found dozens actually. I handed them at least on gun, and a several bullets for them just in case. We were ready for the battle to begin.************************************************
