Chapter 27: Connected With Death

*Months after*

We've been attacked. We've been out numbered, but we've still had the strength to be standing 'til this day. We've been searching for food in this city, yet nothing is left but the disaster of the war. They made the clear announcement that the war is unbareble to this Earth. The phoenix is our winning war symbol; symbolysing the strength against hatred and anything negative.

The Resistance has been great so far, but as a result, the world is left into ashes. Light and Dark spirits have reunited to help this world find it's corse away from genicide. The first ever war with supernatural against humans to find the sense into life forms. Mutants are never stranded. They brought every mutant together to find peace in this never ending war. Armory can never beat the Resistance leaders, and neither does robots.

Their handmade skull bandana's are an army's uniform with the cog and the crown symbol. The strong family, not made by blood, but connection and relations, has bonded. Bones, one of the commanders of this battle, had trained these powerful weapons called the Runaways. Avyanna, one of the leaders, has brought hope into these Runaways, and made their hearts into iron for invincibility. Andy, another leader, has been been a security man to keep every mutant safe against the evil scarecrows. Ben, the reporter, warns everybody about the events, and to prepare for an attack. Brandon, our interrigator, bring us information to where Raven has moved. Brent, our protecter, has shielded us in their powerful nuclear bombs. Hayden, our road cleaner, is called a road cleaner because he removes things out of our way. Dave, our new member of leadership, is out heater in the cold nights. Dave lights the fires that keeps us warm at night, and flies up high for any views of snipers. He is the man of fire. He is fire.

We've lost some of our people. Some people didn't change their minds about giving up, so they just turned themselves in. Austin was the first, and sadly, he died before they took him. Suicide was the killer, but either way, they moved on with their journey.

*Avyanna*

"Andy, we're loosing sunlight. Should we all stay in the buildings?" I asked, and Ben shook his head.

"If we stay, we're going to get caught. By sunrise, they'd find us," he explained, and I just continued.

"Dave, can you go check for anymore buildings on this road?" I asked, and he nodded. He flew off, and hurried off. I was watching him leave, but he suddenly stopped. He signaled an attack, by blowing fire to the sky.

"We got attack signal! Get to cover!" me and Andy screamed as we hid ourselves against the dark in the alleys. I pulled up my bandana, but Andy came up to shield me.

"You're staying here," he whispered, and I nodded. My stomach has grown a lot, and I'm getting close to the due date. It was a couple of months away, and it was getting harder for me to move. We heard the footsteps past by us after a couple of minutes, and Andy nodded at me. I started a tornado in the middle of the crowd, and I started adding the rest of the elements. It was detroying their formation, so I stopped it. The men that got caught in the tornado were flying off to hit the walls. Runaways took over the scarecrows. We made sure we hid their bodies after the attack, so no one will know we'll be here. We had some of them still alive, but we interrigated them.

"Avyanna. Cuff them," Brandon ordered, so I did. I grabbed the rock from underneath, and made sure they wouldn't move.

"Start asking while we search their bodies for any weapons we could use," Hayden stated, and I stayed with Brandon and Brent with the interrigation.

"Where are the rest of your group?" Brandon asked, and they stood quiet.

"Just describe the area, and then leave us guessing," I offered, and Brandon smirked at me.
