Chapter 23: Never Ending Battle

*Avyanna*

"Avyanna," I heard Andy called, so I opened my eyes to see him shirtless.
"Yeah?" I asked, and he started to put his shirt on.
"We have to do our duties back with the group," he said helping me up. I looked at myself, and I had no suit on. Just undergarments. I grabbed my suit, and I started putting it on. Andy pulled me close and kissed my forehead.
"They'll know very soon," I warned, and he just shrugged.
"What makes you say that?" Andy asked.
"Um, there is Brandon and Ben that might know. Let's go before they suspect something else," I said getting our fingers inter wined. We walked to the camp, and Brandon and Ben were looking at us. Brandon walked up with a heart formed by his hands.
"You guys are dirty," Brandon commented, and I looked at Andy.
"You were right," he chuckled, and I smiled at him.
"About what?" Brandon asked.
"She knew you and Ben would know," Andy answered, and Ben came up to us.
"You guys forgot something," Ben said crossing his arms.
"Which is?" I asked.
"Protection," he answered. I gasped, and I looked at Andy. His eyes were wide as mine.
"Can you kill a living thing inside a living thing?" Andy asked me, and I glared at him. I punched him in the arm as hard as I could, and left.
"Avyanna, what he meant wa-"
"I know what he fucking meant," I shouted, and I went inside the forest. I climbed up a tree, and I just started thinking. I can't kill my own baby, but I can't keep it. I probably don't even have a baby. I just didn't know. I can't start a family now in this kind of danger. I can't believe I made that mistake, and I let it happened. I am the one that wanted it to happened.
"Avyanna!" I heard Evelyn called.
"Avyanna, come on. We need to know what's happening," I heard Jean come around. I climbed off the tree to see them rush towards me.
"We saw you and the guys argue. They wouldn't tell us," Evelyn explained. I shook my head as I started to sob.
"Avyanna, what's going on?" Jean asked.
"I might be pregnant, and I don't know what to do. Andy sounds like he doesn't want the baby, and I just couldn't kill the baby. I don't want to kill it, but I can't have it. Not in this kind of world," I answered, and they looked in shock.
"You and Andy had sex?" Evelyn asked, and I nodded.
"When?" Jean asked.
"Last night. Brandon and Ben knew, and Ben mentioned that we didn't use protection," I explained.
"Let's go, so we can check. We can ask Storm what to do, right?" Evelyn asked, and Jean just shrugged.
"We have to wait about a week to know, don't we?" Jean asked, and I shrugged.
"I never experienced this kind of stuff," I answered.
"Um, can you sense another body Jean?" Evelyn asked, and she shook her head.
"No. You have to wait a week for it to start forming," she explained, and I got the idea. I ran back with the camp. I charged at been.
"How would you know we were having sex if we were doing it there?" I interrogated him.
"I knew that before you even got to it," he answered.
"Well, what's the result of that?" I asked, and he didn't answer. "Answer me!" I growled.
"You end up having contractions during a war!" he answered, and I let him go. I looked at Andy, and he looked upset.
"You know I don't like spoilers," Andy answered.
"Good because we need all the spoilers we can get to know how to prevent loosing our baby," I spat, and I went inside the tent. I heard some steps following mine, so I just sat there innocent. Until I found out it was Andy.
"You heard there was a war, so it's not the greatest idea to keep it," he warned, and I looked away.
"What if I want the baby?" I asked, and he shook his head.
"It's not going to make it during the war," Andy denied.
"Is it because you're going to kill it first?" I asked, and he started to look annoyed.
"No! But I'm planning to kill you with it!" he snapped, but it hurt. I felt my heart breaking. "Look, I'm just trying to keep you safe, and I have that feeling that the baby is going to make you helpless. I never ment to say that, but you know that the baby is going to be in danger." He just left the tent, and I started crying. Evelyn came into the tent, and started to comfort me.
"If we can change things, we can have a different outcome," she said, and I looked at her.
"Ask Ben how the war starts and why," I demanded, but she just looks confused.
"Why?" she asked.
"If we know what's going to happen, so we can prevent it," I explained, and she just looked shock.
"You can't change time, Avyanna. That's just wrong," she explained. I knew she was right, but I'd do anything to have a baby.
"How would you know?" I asked, and she shrugged.
"It's just wrong," she insisted, but I just shook my head.
"Fine. I just want my baby to be okay," I answered, and she looked sympathetic.
"We'll protect you," she informed. Brandon came into my tent and send a message to Evelyn since she just left.
"You know that Andy want you to be safe, so we decided on something,'' he explained.
"Which is?" I asked, and he let out a sigh.
"We're going to move our stuff in the forest and make sure we have that baby alive," he answered, and I just felt relieved.
"What made him change his mind?" I asked, and he let out another sigh. 
"I don't know. He just wants you to be happy," he answered. 
"So he doesn't want it, but he wants me to be happy?" I asked, and he shrugged. 
"He just told me he wants you to be happy," he answered. 
"Thanks Brandon," I mention as he got closer to me. 
"It's for your best," he said pulling me into a hug. He let go, and I saw Andy come in. 
"Are you ready to move?" he asked, and I nodded. 
"The sooner the better," I answered, and he pulled me. He acted like nothing had happened. We just had Hank carry all this crap, and Jean was carrying this too.
"If it does make it, what are you going to name it?" Brent asked, and I shrugged.
"I just found out I'm pregnant, so I actually don't know," I admitted.
"If it's a boy, you should call him Ajax. Since we are going to a war, why not name him with the meaning of warrior?" he mentioned, and I thought that was a pretty cool name.
"I'm actually going to keep that in mind because that's a bad-ass name," I chuckled.
"But, what if it's a girl?" Andy asked, and I just smirked at him.
"I actually didn't think you were interested in this," I pointed out, and he shrugged.
"I'm the father, aren't I?" he asked, and I nodded.
"What names did you have in mind for a girl?" I asked.
"Plenty," he answered.
"Which are?" I asked.
"Dyana, Layla, Nadine, Adriana, Dawna. I can go on," he chuckled.
"Wow. I thought you didn't even care about the baby," I answered, and he just pulled me close.
"It's our baby, and we'll take care of her or him," he said kissing my head.
"You do care," I said grabbing our hand. We inter wined our fingers.
"Always did," he smiled kissing my cheek.
"Okay guys. You guys had enough. We don't need another baby in the process," Brent joked.
"Shut up, Taddie," Andy said shoving Brent playfully. Then it got out of hand that they started wrestling. 
"Guys, please stop," I begged, and they shoved each other one last time. We walked to another area, and I just looked at the area. It was filled with flowers, and it looked completely beautiful. 
"This is so beautiful," Evelyn said running to it. She got into the middle, and she got snatch in a trap. She was in a rope kind of cage, and she couldn't get out. I got my dagger out to get her out, but so many soldiers came out of the bushes with guns aimed at me. I threw my dagger to cut it, but a thin line of thred was keeping her from going down. 
"Andy," I called, and teleported to her. He put his weight on the rope, and it got detached from the trap. He teleported here with her in the rope cage still. I got my dagger, and I quickly put a clean cut for it to be easier for her to get out. She got out, so they started firing. It was Brandon, Andy, Evelyn and I running since everyone went there earlier so they would be safe. We ran, and they were right on our heels. They cut us off by stopping in front of us. 
"What do you want from us?" Andy asked, but they didn't answer. Brandon got into my head to leave a message. They want you. I knew it was always me. The man behind me got a good grip on my arm, but I wouldn't let that stopped me. 
"Leave her alone!" Andy growled as he charged at the man who grabbed me. They grabbed him before he could've got any closer. I got one of my daggers to stabbed the man's leg, and I kicked him away. More came to grabbed me which made it harder for me to fight back. They're taking you back to the lab. We'll be there. I nodded, and I let myself easy to get. 
"Brandon, what are they doing?" Evelyn asked, but he didn't answer. 
"No! Where are you taking her?! Avyanna!" Andy cried. I could lie to myself and say everythings going to be alright, or I can start fighting now and have to keep running.
