*Avyanna*

I woke up with wind blowing in my face. I open my eyes to see the jet parked on the street, so I get up to go over there. I saw Ruben already woken up too, but he didn't stop me. I saw Logan, Storm, Brandon, and Andy standing there at the other side of the alley while I walked through it.
"Get out of here. Now," I demanded.
"Who is going to stop us?" Brandon asked with an sour tone, so I pushed him to the jet. He got knocked out.
"If you don't want danger, then fuck off. You don't need me since you left already," I spat with the anger boiling inside me.
"Avyanna, what's going on?" Ruben asked as he put his hand on my waist. I looked at Andy, and he looked hurt.
"Let's just go," he said going back in the jet.
"Andy, you wanted to visit her, and now do you want to go back?" Logan asked annoyed.
"She doesn't need us anymore," he explained.
"But we need her. It's an order," Storm said, and I was just shocked. I looked at Ruben, and he gave me this sad look.
"Why do you need me? Can't you get Jean to help you guys?" I asked. Storm and Logan rolled their eyes.
"Charles wants to see you again," Logan explained, but I knew he was lying. There was something fishy.
"Why would he want to see me again if he is the one who decided to leave me in a desert? That just doesn't make sense," I followed along. Brandon got up again, and he had blood dripping from his nose.
"You're not going to be special anymore," he answered, but I couldn't understand the riddle. I felt Ruben's hand on my shoulder.
"Let's go say your goodbye's," Ruben said pulling me into the alley.
"I'm not really saying goodbye, am I?" I asked in a whispering tone, and he shook his head. I went to the bed I had, and I just sat down on it seeing everyone so hurt. Ruben sat next to me, and he was trying to be calm.
"They're trying to trick you to get you pure human again," he explained, and I just looked down on the floor.
"He's telling her our plan!" Brandon shouted, but I blocked the entrance.
"Through the back!" I yelled, and I looked at Ruben. "You too."
"Thank you," he mouthed, and left with the rest. Once they're all at the other side of the opposite alley, I closed the path to open the other one.
"Take my powers away, huh? That's nice. Logan, I didn't expect you doing this to me. Neither did I expect you, Storm. Brandon, yeah, you have been a great douche to me, and Andy! The greatest shocker of all! The one that loved me, but then felt heartbroken the second he saw my gay friend Ruben. That's nice," I sarcasticly explained.
"It's Charles orders," Logan explained.
"So Charles think he is the leader of all mutants? He can take powers away from whoever he hates, whenever he wants?" I asked.
"Avyanna, you're not even a mutant. You're pure human," Brandon snapped back.
"Clearly if I am immortal, I am mutant. I have the power to heal myself if I get in a crisis," I corrected him. Logan looked at Brandon.
"That's true," Logan agreed.
"So indeed! I am a mutant," I said happily.
"But we can't have you as a mutant," Storm said with pity in her voice.
"What?! Why?" I asked.
"You've been using your power to do horrible crimes," Logan answered.
"But those crimes are for something to survive after you left me. I saw amazing people, and they needed me so I helped them. You can't just leave me, and expect me to be accepted the way I am as a mutant," I snapped back.
"Then get the shot if you want to be accepted like regular people! You don't have to do everything like this to survive," Logan explained.
"You be on your own with no money, and no where to go when you're stranded somewhere you don't even know. Then someone helps you out, so you return the favor, but to a dozen more! You try and be in my shoes," I explained myself.
"I don't want to do this," Logan said grabbing the same tazer that shocked me at the tunnels.
"Logan! You wouldn't," I said backing away from his, and then he started to aim it at me. It was made out of plastic with some kind of energy, so they made it 'Avatar' proof. I threw a rock at his hand to let go of the weapon, and he dropped at Storm's side. Storm looked up to the sky as it got all cloudy. She brought electricity, so I absorbed it to cause a big explosion right in the middle of us. We got blown away, and I hit the wall hard enought for me not to get up anymore. My back hurt as if I broken it in half which I was sure if it was. I looked at the air, and it was all dusty. I coughed the air out of my lungs, and I looked at the gun that was a couple feet away. I was crawling as careful as I could, but someone stepped on my hand. I shouted pain through my voice, and I look up to see who it was. Brandon was looking from above while putting more pressure on my hand. His foot connected to my face, and I was left there with a couple of tears on my face. I rolled on my back carefully, but Brandon kicked me in the stomach a couple of times. I was kicked to the wall, so he got the gun and aimed it at me.
"I am going to have a lot of fun doing this, but it's going to be a lot painful for you. Sorry your powers didn't last long, and they won't be," he said moving his finger on the triger.
"You can't remove the immortality by science. It's a curse," I whimpered as I had my hands in surrender.
"We'll see about that," he said as his eyes looked dull and black. I heard a yell from a guy, and he tackled Brandon. I didn't see the man, and I knew it was Ruben. When Brandon got tackled, he dropped the gun closed enough for me to crawl to it.
"Avyanna," Andy called, and he was right on my face, "please don't do this." That encouraged me to get it. I just want him to know that he can't control me anymore. I grabbed it, and aimed it at Andy. Andy just looked disappointed at me, and then I thought of what I was doing. The next that happens is that Logan crushed my wrist with his foot. I screamed in pain with tears pouring out of my eyes. I dropped the tazer, and I cried in pain and anger from everything. Logan's metal foot actually cracked my wrist. I looked at Ruben, and he was getting tackled as he was loosing his invisibility.
"Alan!" I cried, and he rushed into the room. He started to gaze out, so I looked at Brandon. He was control him. "Alan! Listen to me! Don't let him in your head! Listen to me! It's Avyanna!" He then snapped out of it, and looked at me. I used my power to push Logan off me to the wall, and Alan picked me up and took me to the other side.
"Oh my god! Your wrist," he pointed as I held my hand on my hand.
"Just hand me some water," I said as they brought me a bucket of water. I started healing myself, and everything from my wrist started to back to normal. I started to roll my wrist out, and move them just to make sure that they were alright.
"We have to go," my aunt said grabbing my other wrist.
"We can't just leave Ruben behind," I said as the engine of the jet started. My eyes widen, and something just popped up on my mind. They took Ruben. I ran as fast as I could, and Alan just picked me up and took me over there undr a second. I got dizzy everytime he did that. I looked inside the place, and he was nowhere to be found. I brought the wall down to see everyone discussing things.
"We need to go outside the city," someone answered.
"Who told you that?" I asked.
"Ruben," another one answered.
"We have to go somewhere different then," I said.
"Why?" aunt asked. "We have to meet him there."
"They have Ruben, so we have to be one step ahead if we want to survive," I answered.
"One step ahead from what?" a girl asked.
"They took Ruben, so if he told you a plan, they will get in his mind to find out where we're heading. If Ruben told you to go outside the city, then we have to move into another direction. I am putting you in danger, so I am doing my best to get you out of it. Anyone got any ideas?" I asked.
"We have the sewage? We can hid in there," aunt suggested.
"Where is an entrace?" I asked, and she pointed behind me. I turned around to see a thing that has the water, so I took it off. I looked at it, and I heard water.
"Will it stink?" a guy asked.
"Well, what do you think?" I asked sarcasticly.
"How are we going to survive with the smell?" someone asked.
"I don't think we can't, but we can make tunnels. We can stay out of the city, and stay underground. I'll get food sources so we can make our own food," I suggested.
"I am not eating salad!" my aunt insisted.
"Eat crap then!" I snapped back. "If you want me to help you guys from not dying, then let's start walking." I started leading the way out, and I just went out the desert with everyone behind me.
