Chapter 4: Never Left Alone

*Avyanna*

I was laying down seeing the ceiling fan swirl while listening to Crown The Empire's music.
"Avyanna, we're going somewhere. We'll be right back," Brandon warned.
"Okay. Come back soon," I said soon. I needed to work with my training. I decided to work with the guys. I got my suit for training and went downstairs. I accidently bumped into Logan.
"Hey! I was about to go get you," Logan chuckled.
"Yeah? I felt like practicing with you guys," I said with a shrug.
"Where did the guys go?" he asked. I sighed.
"They went somewhere," I said.
"Let's go practice," he said leading me to the room.
"Hey! Look who is here!" Bobby said excitedly.
"Yeah! She was on her way to join us," he chuckled.
"You're on your own?" Jean asked.
"Yeah. The guys went somewhere," I said. She suddenly looks up with a terrified face.
"We need to upstairs now!" she said rushing us.
"Why?! What happened?" Storm asked. I connected to the metal ground to connect to the streets.
"Brandon!" I shouted running upstairs. Once I got up there, I saw the guys on hostage. "NO!" I was going to run to them, but Logan pulled me back.
"Let's handle this in a calmly manner," Logan told me softly. "Hank, hold her." Hank got my wrist just incase I was going to run again.
"What seems to be the problem?" Storm asked.
"Government did not agree to the contract. We have to take 7 students of yours," said the man that held them hostage. Logan just looked at me and the guys, and he looked back to him.
"You have to understand that keeping them here is the best option their is. They need to be with the ones they understand because they never learn alone," Logan said trying to convinced them.
"Sorry sir, but orders are orders. We need the girl," he said pointing at me. 
"I am sorry, but you're not taking her. First of all, why do you guys need them? Why are they so important to you guys?" Logan asked.
"We need them because they are now government property," he answered strictly.
"I am not a fucking toy, and that's what you guys need to know," I said with a sour look. "I want to stay here because I need to learn my true self and control my true power. I don't think I will learn anything with you guys."
"Because we're not going to be learning how to use our power. They are going to test us like animals," Brandon said looking at me.
"Let me call Charles,'' Storm said going upstairs.
"Give us the girl now, or we will have to use force sir," the man said reaching his hand-gun.
"Look! You're not taking her! I know what she is capable of and I don't think you guys are able to handle that. She is more powerful than the army," Logan explained.
"Sir, last warning. Remember that I will have to use force," he said reaching his pistol again. Logan shoved him.
"You're not taking her!" Logan yelled at him. The man got his pistol, and point it at him. Logan just shrugged. "Do it."

The pistol went off, and Logan receive a bullet through the head.
"Hand us the girl," he signed. Hank let my wrist go, but he whispered.
"Do what you need to do." I closed my eyes, and concentrated. The next thing you hear a vase break. I hit him with a vase. The rest of the men now pointed a gun at me. The pulled me aggressively. I used my kick-boxing skills, and worked for the two guys on both sides. They now had to sedate me, but I didn't let them. I was fighting back hardcore. I was trying to leave their grip, but they kept pushing me down. The man in front of me that was holding my legs had three knives in his chest. The man fell on me, and Logan appeared behind him. He threaten the guys with his claws, and they backed away, letting my go. Logan grabbed my hand, and pulled me to stand up.
"Thanks!" I said happily. The guys were just there, and I got the keys from the dead man to unlock the guys from the handcuffs. Storm came in here shocked.
"Logan! What did you do?!" Storm panicked.
"Save 7 people from the government. Why?" Logan asked.
"Logan! Thanks, but we have to leave before there is more danger around here. Every time this happens, there is a lot of destruction because of me. We'll be back again in like an hour. I promise you," I said pulling the guys with me. The swat cars came from the front, so that means we go through the back.
"Avyanna, why don't we face the fact we won't escape? Why can't we just turn ourselves in?" Ben asked.
"Ben, we have a chance! We just have to keep fighting for it! Come on!" I said pulling his arm.
"No! I am tired of running! I know we aren't going to make it through the government like this, Avyanna. It's not easy to keep trying when you know what's your future," Ben said walking back to the direction of the swat. They were yelling at him, and he obey. The next thing I know, he turned himself in.
"Ben! No!" I cried.
"Avyanna! Let's go!" Brandon said pulling me. I couldn't leave like this. My saying of a team is "We go together, or don't go down at all." I couldn't let it happened, but they forced me too.
"Hank! Help us!" Andy called. Hank got my waist and took my to the back. I kept calling Ben's name until it started to fade from my voice.
"Hank! Hurry!" Andy rushed. They fired at me with the shot on, and they got my wrist. I started losing clearness from my eyes, and my voice started to die. My eyes started to sleep, but I wouldn't let them. I forced them open, but I never lasted that long. I felt free, but never this soon. I guess they sedated me, but only for a period of time. I woke up with people trying to make me breath. By people, I mean by Andy. He was pumping my heart, but thankfully, I got him before his lips could touch mine.
"I got sedated, not drowned," I said pushing him away. "But thanks for trying." I didn't forget my manners. I woke up in an alley. Brandon shoved his way through.
"Avyanna! We need to move now!" Brandon said picking me up. I got up and saw these dead guys in front.
"What are they doing there?" I asked.
"Avyanna! We don't have time for this!" Brandon said pulling my wrist really tight. Cop cars start try to go through here in the alley because it was pretty wide.
"Brandon! Let me go!" I shouted.
"No! I am not leaving you," he said pulling me.
"I said LET ME GO!" I screamed and the ground trembled. Brandon let me go, but he stopped me.
"What is your plan besides trying to kill people?!" Brandon yelled at me.
"Just go! I'll catch up to you," I said shoving him away.
"No! I'm no-"
"Believe me! Just go!" I said shoving him. I looked at Andy, and he nodded.
"Brandon! Let's just go! We'll see her!" Andy said pulling. I saw Brandon's eyes water, and they were looking at me. I turned around to see cops point guns at me once again.
"Hands in front!" they strictly started. I smirked.
"Only my hands?" I asked. They stood quiet as they got closer. I stepped back.
"Stay where you are!" one yelled at me.
"Then you step back!" I shouted as I threw them away. They used the taser again, but I used it as an advantage. I first felt the pain then absorb the power.
"Look at what you're encouraging!" I shouted between my teeth. They stopped the taser, but I used the power and pointed at the location they all were. I heard a gun fire, and my reaction was quick. It wasn't quick enough. I felt the bullet touch my chest, and pull me down. I saw the blood lead down to my neck to the floor. A man came up to me, and my vision became blurry. I couldn't tell who it was anymore. I just felt darkness come up upon me and take over my sight. I couldn't take out the darkness with light, and it was impossible to see. I just saw darkness, and heard a thousand noises.

*Andy*

We were at the safe house to see Ben inside the house.
"Where is Avyanna?" Ben asked.
"We left her in the alley," I panted. Ben's eyes widen and fill up with tears.
"No! Please! Don't tell me this, Ben!" Brandon cried.
"What happened?!" Brent asked.
"We have to go back!" Brandon sobbed.
"Dude," I said blocking the way from him.
"Let me go!" Brandon said shoving me.
"What is happening?" I asked.
"She is gone," Ben said softly, letting a tear fall down to his cheek.
"What do you mean she is gone?" I asked anxiously.
"She is gone. A bullet through the chest, Andy! Why did you leave her?" Ben asked.
"I thought she was going to destroy the area because the ground trembled when Brandon didn't let her go. How did I know this was going to happened?!" I asked.
"She thought she could handle them, but she was tricked. They shot her from behind," Brandon continued with his sobbing. I teleported to the alley we were, and saw no more cops cars, but just a puddle stain of blood on the ground. I followed the trail, and saw that it stopped at the end of the alley. I teleported back.
"They took the body," I informed.
"Do you know where?" Brandon asked.
"It was empty when I went. I just saw the puddle of blood with the trail leading to the end of the alley,'' I explained.
"Wait...isn't she immortal?" Bobby asked.
"Yeah! She would still be alive, right?" Brandon asked Logan.
"Depending on how fast she heals," Logan answered.
"So, she is not dead, but she isn't alive?" Brent asked.
"More likely," Logan answered.
"What if they put something in her for her not to heal?" I asked.
"With the shot?" Hayden asked.
"Yeah! What if it had a chemical that slowed down her reaction of healing or probably even stop it?" I asked.
"They sedated her?" Logan asked.
"Yeah. It took effect fast," Hank answered.
"If she is still alive, and finds out that she is captured, wouldn't she make a reaction?" I asked.
"But we don't have exact proof of her being alive. If we did, we would start planning how to track her," Brent added.
"That's what I'm trying to say. If she was still alive, she would react with anger when she finds out she is captured. It would destroy someplace or city, and it will be on the news. They would inform us soon," I told Brent.
"That's true, but how long can we wait until she ruins a city with innocent people?" Hank asked.
"We need Mastique!" Brandon said. "We can sneak in the governments information with her transforming to someone in the business then hack into the system to get the information." Logan was pointing at him with a smile on his face.

"That's our plan," Logan smiled.
