*Avyanna*

I woke up standing, but this time I was dangling. My arms were tied into some straps that were connected to conners, same with my legs. There was this medal thing around my waist, so I just kept it a secret weapon. I woke up and saw Brandon and Andy next to me in a different glass containers. Brandon had a blue shield that looked like glass, so I assume that it was for his mind reading. Andy had tight straps everywhere, on his arms, neck, waist, knees, ankles, thighs, anywhere that can.
"Andy! Brandon!" I screamed, but I alerted one of the guards.
"Boss, this one is awake," he called standing right in front of me.
"You let me go, and I'll spare your life," I threaten as I grinded my teeth. I saw a man with a white lab coat on him.
"Get extra help with this one. She is a fighter," he demanded, and he just looked at me.
"What do you from us?" I asked, and he just snickered.
"I'm doing research, and clearly, you're very rare," he said tilting his head a little bit.
"Research from what?" I asked, getting a little fear into my skin.
"Mutants, and your blood cells are not mutant material," he answered.
"Because I am not a mutant!" I said, trying to get loose with these straps.
"So you're helping the mutants to kill the human race?" he asked as the guards started coming.
"The human race is just afraid of us while we haven't done any harm to any innocent people. We're just misundertood," I explained as they took off the glass door.
"It's funny how you say you aren't a mutant, but you include yourself with them," he smirks, but I just shot him a glare. The men grabbed both of my wrist and ankles while the other one unlocks the straps.
"They are my family, and it's not going to change. You don't have to be the same kind to accept each other," I explained. Once all the straps were loose, I started fighting back. The man with the lab coat had a gun and aimed it at me. He pulls the trigger, and the bullet is staying right in front of me. I wasn't using any power because, if I was, I couldn't see the bullet in front of me.
"You aren't a mutant, but you still can protect yourself," he said as he put the gun away.
"That wasn't me," I snapped, but he didn't believe me by the look on his face. The men tied my ankles and wrist together, and I was carried to another room. I was looking at Brandon and Andy, and they finally noticed me leaving.
"Avyanna!" they yelled through the glass cells.
"Help me!" I screamed, but I knew they were the only ones there. They laid me down on this table that was covered and stained with blood, and they strapped me again.
"You're not going to sleep because I want you to suffer," he said with a smile on his face, but I knew that he made a wrong choice.
"I recommend you to let me and my people go, and I swear you're going to live," I threaten, but he didn't believe me.
"I just need to know what your power is," he said, then he started sharpening his knife.
"I am not a mutant," I lied, but he didn't seem to believe me. I wasn't a mutant for sure.
"Sure that what they all say," he said picking up my shirt to where needed. I closed my eyes, so he won't know that I'm in my possesed mode. I picked up a small blade, and I started to cut the strap next to the lamp that he needed. I felt the light hit me with it's warmth, so I knew this process needed to come quicker. I quickly started to cut the other strap from my other leg.  When I was done, I worked on my wrist, but I felt the knife cut through my flesh. I screamed from the tight and sour pain of the blade. I cut the strap faster, and I grabbed the knife he was using and stabbed his arm. He tumbled to the ground with the knife in his arm, but I just unlock myself from the strap. It wouldn't budge, so I was sitting there as an open target. I suddenly feel my stomach regenarating, and the man looked amazed.
"You are a mutant," he said in shock. I grabbed one of the knives, and aimed it to him.
"Not the way a mutant is defined," I explained as I threw the knife. I aimed it to his other arm, but it hit him in the neck. "Shit," I mumbled under my breath.
"Master?" the guards called. I started working on the strap, and it finally set free. Next plan was to get out of here with Andy and Brandon by my side. I saw the shadow of them coming near the counter. I heard the knives moving, so I turned to what they were doing. The just flew to the direction the guards were at, and I heard them hit the wall. I crawled to the researcher, and grabbed the knives that were burried deeply into his skin and muscle. I slid back to the counter for the cover, and I felt 5 pairs of eyes stare to my direction. I hate going stealth mode because if you screw something up, you're screwed as well. I found a ball near the counter, so I threw it to there direction for distraction. The men looked at the direction the ball went, so I went behind a guard and slit his throat. I sneak through the door where Andy and Brandon were and open there glass cells. I gave a quiet sign to both of them, and I unlocked Andy first, and he teleported to Brandon.
"What was that?"
"We can't get out of here," Andy and Brandon whispered, "You need a key card." Key card, great. I heard footsteps coming to the room, so I went to the wall right next to the entrance. Once he pass through it, I grabbed him, and snapped his neck. I started checking his pockets, and luckily, I found a key card. I went to the thing to turn off the shield, and swipped the card to it. The shield was turned off, so I opened Brandon's cell to let the guys loose. Someone, when I say that I mean Brandon, had to trip, and alerted to guards.
"Just get up, and suck it up. They know already," I said pulling him up. I took the key card for any extra purposes. The guards saw us and started firing, but the bullets were floating. I don't know who was it because it wasn't me. We started running.
"Avyanna is still the same," Andy chuckled.
"But that wasn't me," I warned, and it just got suspenful. We were running and I heard my name being called.
"Avyanna, we don't have time for this," Brandon groaned, and forcefully grabbed my arm.
"You can join me, or you can save yourselves. I have things in mind. Here's the key card if you guys need to get out," I said tossing it to them. I ran to the direction of my name, and I found Evelyn, Alan, and Ruben.
"Oh my god," I said in shock, but I was moving quickly. I went to Alan first since he was a fast person. I unstrap him, and he got the rest. I turn around to see Andy and Brandon leaning on the wall.
"What the hell are they doing here?" Ruben asked, but I rolled my eyes.
"Same reason as you, so let's go. We don't have time," Andy answered.
"Why should we go with you?" Evelyn snapped.
"Evelyn, right now isn't the time. I swear we're getting out of here, and I want to get you guys safe," I said pushing them to run. We were getting out of here, and we made it to the entrance which was full of guards.
"If you didn't go with them, we would've been out," Brandon said.
"Brandon, don't start," he answered.
"Get back into your cells," they demanded, and I bursted out laughing.
"I'm sorry, but do you know who you're messing with?" I asked, and everyone lined up with me. The pointed their guns at us, and Evelyn was trying to do her best to use her power.
"Evelyn, what's wrong?" I asked, and she just hold her head on her hand.
"Nothing," she answered, but we all knew she was lying. Brandon tugged on my arm.
"She lost her power with a medication the man gave her," he whispered in my ear. I sighed, and I walked up in front of the man in the entrance. He started firing, but bullets were still firing.
"Okay. I am not doing this, and it's starting to creep me out. There is someone doing this," I snapped, but everyone just gave me an annoyed look.
"It has to be you," Andy sighed, but I turned to him. He just gave me a frightened look, more likely everyone did.
"Avyanna, it's you. I swear if you look at yourself right now, you'll be frightened at yourself too," Brandon explained, but I just didn't believe him. How can I frighten myself? Is he calling me ugly?! I turned back around, and the man just punched me right in the face. I tumbled down the couple of steps that were behind me, and held my face. I removed my hand, and I saw my blood dripping on my hand. I just wiped it off, and looked at him with anger boiling.
"Avyanna, just stay away from him. It's for your best," Andy informed. I ran up to him, and he grabbed my hair and through me out the window.
"Avyanna!" they all cried. We were on a the 6 floor that looked like an entrance? What? I fell from a pretty big height, and it didn't make sense. I looked around, and the only entrance was the helicopter. They would enter through the roof, so no one could sneak in or out in this 10 floor building. It was a pretty stupid idea, but damn, it got me good. I stood in the ground a little to let myself heal. Once I was done, I started climbing on the windows to get myself to get back up there, and I saw Ruben get thrown off too. I snatched the collar of his coat, and I got him hanging.
"Start climbing," I said putting him on a limb.
"Can I just stay here?" he asked panting.
"Why? You afraid of heights?" I asked, and he nodded with straight fear written on his face. "Fine. Stay hidden." I went higher to reach the floor, and I stood there near the broken window. I sneaked up on his, and grabbed him in a pretty useless position. I grabbed the front collar of his uniform, and I hanged him on the window.
"Please don't," he begged as he started to loose his breath.
"People like you make us seek revenge, and then when we get it, we're the monsters. After all the mercy I given for you kinds of people, mercy is no longer an option," I said letting go of his collar. The scream he gave from the top of his lungs wasn't what I wanted, but I thank him for throwing me off the window. I got the exact entrance, now I know where to go.
"Where is Ruben?" Alan asked.
"I'm still alive!" I answered outside.
"Andy, can you go teleport him here?" I asked, and he nodded. The next thing, he came back with Ruben in safety.
"Where are we going now, Avyanna?" Evelyn asked, and I just leading them down the elevator.
"The entrance is at the roof," a guard chuckled.
"There is also glass we can break through," I answered as the doors closed. Once we made it, guards were blocking the way. "Andy," I said giving him an idea as I wrapped my arms around everyone. He teleported us to the nearest window, and I grabbed a chair and broke the glass.
"Freedom!" we all cried in joy, and we ran away into the city. We were all laughing, and we all panting.
"Where are we going to meet the guys?" Brandon asked, and I didn't want to disappoint him. As always, he knew what I was going to say.
"We need to keep ourselves alive without them," I answered.
"Back to the routine?" Ruben asked.
"Back to the routine," I answered with a smile of excitement.
