Isabella

The next period was rough. I happened to have Reggie and DeMar in the same class period and the tension between them was uncomfortable. When I walked into the class, I saw Reggie who looked pissed. Then DeMar called me and I had looked back at Reggie who stared at me coldly. Instead of being petty, I ended up sitting somewhere else far away from them. I didn't want to be near the two.

"Are you Bear?" The boy next to me asked. I stared at him slowly. DeMar sent him. His hair was well picked out and his eyes were a light shade of brown. He looked familiar but I couldn't pin who it was.

"Yeah," I said, tucking a piece of my hair behind my ear.

"My friend," he pointed behind him quickly not letting me see who, but I'm pretty sure it was DeMar, "he wanted you to meet him after this period is over."

I gave him a small fake smile, "Tell your friend I'll only meet him if he comes up to me."

He quickly held up his hands in surrender, "Chill, I really didn't mean to get you mad and all. I'm sorry." Before I could say something else, he got up from his seat and sat next to DeMar. He let out a burst of curse words and Rozan stared at him confused.

I shook my head and faced the front of the class again. I knew Reggie was staring at me, I could feel it. I felt my palms becoming sweaty and my head began to pound. I rested my head on my hand and closed my eyes.

Why does my third period have to suck asš? I haven't had one period with Jordin and it's driving me insane. Reggie's fūcking temper is pissing me off and I'm just making Rozan confused. He's cool and I do really want to get to know him, but I can't help to think about Reggie.

Reggie swears he's a bad guy although he is one himself.

Since I nearly scared Rozan's friend, he probably told him all these false accusations about me already to him. I didn't mean to frighten the little guy, I just didn't want to be bothered.

I drained out the noise from the room and the teacher's instructions.

When the bell rang, I still sat in my chair out of it. It wasn't until Rozan came up to me and touched my shoulder. I nearly punched him so hard because he scared the crap out of me.

"What?" I asked him. He had his hands up in front of himself defensively.

"The bell rang and you're still sitting here like a dumbass," he huffed. He adjusted his book bag as if he didn't just get scared of a five feet tall woman.

I looked around the room slowly and noticed everyone left including the teacher. I also saw Reggie slowly walking in the hallway. "Oh." I quickly got up and swung my bag over my shoulder. "Tell your friend I didn't mean to go off at him like that."

"Okay," he said. He quickly followed me out the door as I rushed to leave. I wanted to talk to Reggie but Rozan was right on my tail.

"I'll see you later," I told him as we were getting closer to Reggie.

Rozan laughed, "Bear chill, my class is this way too."

I sighed and just walked faster to catch up to Reggie. I could tell Rozan just froze but slowly kept walking behind us.

I grabbed Reggie's shoulder, "What the hell is going on with you?"

He kept walking and stayed silent. My small frame next to him didn't really intimidate him, but I still tried. He didn't seem to mind as he just shrugged his shoulder and continued to walk.

"Reggie, what the hell?"

"Leave me alone, Isabella," he growled. He gritted his teeth and his jaw hardened.
