In honor of it being DeMar's birthday...😋💗

First period of B day had been extremely worse than the others. No one, and absolutely no one, was in that class that I knew. I sat there quiet as the rest of the class alone. I nearly fell asleep twice, but the class shouldn't have been boring anyway.
The next period was alright. Jimmy was in that class, along with DeAndre. Jimmy sat next to me while DJ sat next to some random girl, who looked like she was about to rip his braids apart because he talked so much.
Jimmy was chill, though. We talked about sports and a little bit of our hometowns. The teacher did get on to us for talking too much, but we kept going. He'd keep using his charm on me and flashing his vibrant smile. That smile could make any girl weak on her knees, but then again I'm not one of those easy girls.
"Are you gonna eat that?" Rozan asked while he ate his deli sandwich at lunch. He wore his cap backwards and one of his basketball sweatshirts on.
"You're such a fat ass," I shook my head. He chuckled and grabbed the second piece of his sandwich, eating it in less than five bites. I was about to give it to him until he stopped me.
"I was joking," he said. "You should eat."
I sighed and placed the sandwich back on my tray. My appetite had been gone since I had this terrible knot in my chest. Something just didn't feel right. "I'm not hungry."
"Why?" His eyebrows furrowed. He stared back at me and they showed great concern. "You good, Bear?"
I shook my head and rested my head in the palms of my hands. "I'm having anxiety for some reason, and I have no idea why. It just feels like something is wrong."
I heard him sigh. He scooted closer to me and rubbed my back. Moments later he laid his head on my back, but never wrapped his arms around me. For some reason I wanted him to hold me, but he never did. He just simply rested his head on me.
Our heads both shot up once we heard a loud commotion on the other side of the cafeteria.
"Damn, already a fight on the second day of school," he groaned. I recognized those punches and felt my knot grow.
Reggie was the one fighting.
I saw DJ running towards us with his arms flying in the air like a child.
"Did you see that?" He yelled. Jimmy was not that far from behind him.
Rozan scoffed, "Do you not see that crowd that already formed? We weren't all blessed to be as tall as you to where you could just see it all."
He seemed to laugh harder even though I didn't find it funny at all. Rozan seemed agitated as well for some reason, too.
"What's wrong?" Jimmy asked, sliding over the table and sitting next to me. "You gonna eat that?"
I shook my head and pushed my tray towards him. His eyebrows creased since I didn't answer. He still ate it though, oblivious to the fact that there was a fight going on. It had just gotten separated but everyone was still hype.
Jordin and Kyle both weren't at lunch but no one else seemed to notice. Seemed pretty fishy if you ask me.
I stood up and adjusted my jacket and then left. I know Rozan followed me but I didn't care honestly. I just needed some fresh air and we still had about thirty minutes, and then I ended up having the next period as study hall so I had a quite amount of time.
"Bear!" Rozan called after me as I opened the school door and walked out. I looked back at him and noticed his hesitation of following, but he did nonetheless. He jogged to my side and grabbed my arm. "Where are you going? You can't just walk out the school like that?"
