March 6, 2021: Two years after writing the final chapter.
I had such a pleasure writing this crucial story.
I hope you guys enjoyed the story as much as I did. I want to thank everyone who commented and voted on my chapters. I really do appreciate you guys and enjoyed reading all of your comments. Unfortunately, there will not be a sequel. I don't have much free time as I used to have and will soon be going into my first year of college.
I started this book in my freshmen and sophomore year (mainly written throughout my sophomore year) and did not anticipate tackling such difficult topics. Even after I have reread it, two years later, I am in awe of what I created and the toll it took.
Creating this story line was very complicated, but thrilling at the same time because I had many different ideas of what I wanted to incorporate. Some of the things that happened, I never imagined would happen when I was first began writing this, but it seemed interesting to take that different path. Tip to writers: always debate before taking that different path.
This is by far my most favorite book I have ever written out because I was able to create such characters that were fun, irritating, but also very different. Even now as I write other stories, I find myself coming back to this one to compare how much it shows I have grown as a writer. But to know that my book was appreciated and enjoyed by many two years ago, will forever warm my heart, and I thank all of you who took the time out to read it. I also apologize for all the misery I have caused you.
With immense love,
Emily 🤍
