Chapter 15

I put on my denim jacket, a piece of clothing that has quickly become one of my favorite things to wear lately. I fix the collar, making sure it looks alright. Outside I hear someone honking. I grab my purse along with everything else I need and head out of my bedroom to the front door. Malik sits on his motorcycle, dark sunglasses on and matching denim jacket like mine. I pull the door close and walk down the steps.

"Hello gorgeous. You want a ride?", he asks sounding seductive, pushing his sunglasses down his nose to look at me.

"Sorry, my parents told me not to talk to strangers", I answer teasing him.

"Is that so?", he says as he pushes his sunglasses up again.

"Mhmm", I answer as he hands me my helmet.

"Damn it. You must be a very good girl then", he answers still seductive.

"Why yes I am, sir", I answer as I adjust my helmet.

"Not for long. Hop on... This", he says trailing at first before patting the seat behind him.

"Well, alright. Only if you promise to make it a fun ride", I say getting on the motorcycle.

"All my rides are fun. You got proof of it the other night", he answers looking over his shoulder at me, with a teasing smirk on his face.

"If you say so", I answer as I wrap my arms around his waist, sliding my hands underneath his shirt.

His abdomen tenses at my touch and his breathing hitches.

"I say so myself, your moans did, too", he says as his hand slides up my leg.

I smile, shivers running up and down my body at his touch.

"Mhmm, my bad. I forgot about that part", I answer my hands sliding up to his chest as I lay my head on his back.

"It's okay. I realize I must have done such an amazing job, I gave you amnesia", he answers.

I laugh and slap his back.

"Okay, I remember everything now let's go before my neighbors call the police on us", I say still laughing.

"Alright, alright. Ready?", he asks turning on the motorcycle.

"Yes!", I yell over the sound of the engine.

He nods his head and we are off to the orphanage. Apparently it's still open even to this day and located on the other side of the city, where hopefully I can find answers. I silently wonder if the woman that signed the documents is still alive. My thoughts are interrupted as Malik swerves off the lane into another one, causing me to yelp in surprise.
