I was shutting the door to my bedroom when somebody forced it back open again, hitting me on my forehead.
"Fuck!" I yelled out in pain while rubbing the spot where I was hit.
Bone stepped into the room and locked the door behind him.
He laughed, "Damn, my bad." He thought this shit was funny? Is he crazy?
"That shit hurt! Get the fuck out of my room, Bone!" I screamed at him with my hand still on my forehead.
He suddenly stopped laughing and stepped closer to me, pulling me close to him.
"You know, I've been in love with you for a long time," he said into my ear.
"What? Stop bullshitin'," I told him, not believing a word he's said.
For some reason I wasn't scared of Bone. I always looked at him as Kai's brother. I couldn't ignore the fact that he was fine as hell too, but what he was saying was straight bullshit that he and I know that isn't true.
"Foreal, Diamond," he said again in my ear. He kissed my neck.
I pushed him away from me. "I thought Kai was like a brother to you?"
"Fuck naw, I don't really like that nigga. That's why I set him up."
What the fuck did he just say?
"You did what?" I couldn't believe my ears. I took a step closer.
"You heard me, I set his bitch ass up, and if you tell him, I swear to God I'll kill you, Diamond."
I smirked.
He must be dumb as hell if he think I'm not telling Kai what he did.
"Don't make me slap that goddamn smirk off yo' face," he warned while leaning against the wall.
Knowing him, he'll do just that, so I stopped smiling with the quickness. "But how could you, Bone? You know that's some foul ass shit!" I yelled at him in anger. I can't believe he's been playing him this whole time.
He trusted him, I trusted him, we all trusted Bone.
"Shut the fuck up, Diamond! Shit didn't go as planned," he reveiled while starting to pace the floor.
"What you mean shit didn't go as planned? What the fuck did you have planned?"
He exhaled and rubbed his hand over his face. "I was suppose to kill Lil' Rick a long time ago. He was stealing shit from Kai, coming up short with his money and everything," he paused and looked at me.
I crossed my arms and sat on the bed while he continued.
"Kai told me to kill his ass when we met up at Dino's that morning. You remember when Kai got beat up, don't you?"
Of course, I remember! How could I forget something like that. I nodded my head instead of saying something I'll regret.
He continued, "Well I set that shit up the same day. I told Lil Rick I'll spare him his life if he get some people to rough Kai up a bit for me. I made him promise me he'll leave town after, but his dumb ass never left."
I shook my head at his stupidness. Bone was a complete dumb ass. Kai knew Lil' Rick wasn't dead anyway. But I let Bone continue without saying a word.
"Lil' Rick wasn't suppose to show up here. Kai called me over here to talk business way before Lil' Rick showed up. Why he came here is beyond me. I'm happy I showed up though. Not for Kai's sake, but Kaila's."
I blinked back tears, remembering that day and moment.
"So what do you want from me?" I wanted to know.
He stopped pacing and looked me in the eyes. "I want you to help me kill Kai."
