"You on some Bonnie and Clyde type of shit. I don't need you to help me, you don't have none to do with this, D."
That's where he was wrong.
I know he'll be pissed if he found out I told Bone I'll help him kill him. But I'll rather him hear it from me than from somebody in the streets.
"I told Bone I'll help him kill you," I said in one breath, trying to get it over with.
Kai stopped fumbling with the lock and turned around to looked at me.
"You did what?" His eyes was still bloodshot red.
I let out a sigh. "I told Bone I'll--"
I was cut short by Kai's slap to my face. He hit me so hard I landed on the floor of our closet.
"HOW THE FUCK COULD YOU, DIAMOND?" he yelled in my face.
My vision was blurry due to the fresh tears I had in my eyes. I held the side of my face while I looked at him above me.
"If you let me explain I can fucking tell you!" I told him in anger. I can't believe he hit me.
"Naw, fuck this." He turned around and unlocked the safe's door.
"Wait, Kai," I said while trying to get back on my feet.
Kai pulled the gun out and aimed it at me.
After all of the times I've had a gun aimed at me, I never thought it'll be the one I love behind it.
I didn't even try begging for my life.
I knew this party was a bad idea.
I closed my eyes and waited for my destiny.
