Kai's POV

I sat in the back of the Pulse, waiting patiently on Bone to arrive. I declined the drinks the cute, young waitress tried to give me for the third time since I been here.

I need to stay focus.

I bobbed my head up and down to the music while thinking things through in my head again.

I shifted my eyes to one of my body guards posted up in one of the corners on the club, all of 'em was strapped and ready to blow anybody brains out if they stepped to me wrong. Even though I knew I could handle Bone and anybody else by themselves without a problem.

But I'm not perfect, I can get caught slipping , just like that night at the club.

I looked at everybody doing their own thang in the club, most of the bitches was dancing or more like fucking each other on the dance floor while some of the niggas sat back and watched, and others try to squeeze between the hoes.

I turned my attention back to the entrance of the club. I smirked as Diamond and Bone walked into the club arm in arm like they owned the place.

They looked like the perfect couple from a distance, but if you would've been futher up, you would've seen the fear in Diamond's eyes.

"I knew she wasnt built for this shit," I said under my breath.

I wanted to kick myself for allowing her to do this. Everytime I seen her like this, it reminded me of the little girl that was afraid of her parents' fighting.

Meanwhile, Bone had a big ass kool-aid smile on his face walking 'round the club showing Diamond off like she was his trophy. He slapped hands with all of the lil' niggas from around the way.

When I finally had enough I slowly raised my gun up, aiming it at Bone, tthe red laser light landing on his heart. N.obody noticed the spot except Diamond.

She looked my way and our eyes locked. Her grey eyes put me in a daze. Damn, why did she have to look at me?

My train of thought seemed to have lost. My gun was still aiming at Bone. I can tell she had to tell me something, but what?

I didn't even notice Bone pulling out his gun from his waistband, neither did Diamond.

But, I felt it.
