For some unknown reason my wife is different.

"Yuan!" She screamed, agad naman ako napatakbo mula sa kusina.

"Sweetie" I immediately hugged her, Oh God, ito na naman s'ya, she's crying again. Simula noong bumalik kami galing ng Sydney, she's acting weird.

When I say weird, ganito

"Babe!" She called me babe! Tapos tumawa s'ya "Kidding, sweetie gusto ko ng black grapes" she pouted. Tapos nung wala akong nabili kasi di pa panahon she threw me out of the room.

Ang ending I had five days of cold shower.

I swear kung uulitin n'ya 'yon mababaliw ako! I missed her! Gustong gusto ko s'yang halikan pero ayaw n'ya!

She pushed me away "Ugh! Ang baho mo!" She hissed.

"Nagluluto ako sorry" aaksama sana akong yakapin s'ya ulit pero tumakbo s'ya sa banyo tsaka nagsuka.

"Sweetie, pa-check up na tayo" I said while gently rubbing her back.

"Natatakot ako, what if may malala akong sakit, ayaw ko pang mamatay Yuan" she started crying again.

"Don't say that, walang masamang mangyayari sa'yo, as long as I am here" I assured her, she smiled like a kid then she tip toed to kiss me.

I must really missed her kisses, kaya I took the opportunity to deepen the kiss but to my dismay, she pulled away. I sighed.

"I want dragon fruit" she blurted out of nowhere.

I needed help with fruits! She's been craving for the hardest kinds of fruits! Seryoso! Nakaka-frustrate but I love her so much kaya heto I ended up calling Mommy Mia.

"Ma!" I beamed

"Oh hijo, what's so urgent? Did something happened?" She asked concerned

So I told her everything at isang malakas na tawa lang ang nakuha ko!

"Anak, you might want to see a doctor, specifically an OB" she said after laughing.

I creased my eyebrow, why do we- HOLY SHIT.

"Ma, you think she's uh" I'm not sure what to say! Baka kasi hindi naman ganon!

"I've been there, so I must know"

"Alright! Thanks Ma! You're the best" then I hang up.

After an hour of convincing my wife, finally she said yes!

I've been very patient since, Mommy Mia told me I needed that given the condition of my wife.

"Why are we meeting an OB?" She said clueless.

"Sweetie, hindi mo ba napapansin yung mga signs?" I asked her, it's her body pero parang wala s'yang idea on what's happening.

But before she could answer, "Mrs. Stevens"

"Good to see you again Kyla" the doctor said, nagtaka ako bakit kilala n'ya ang asawa ko.

"Uh, Doc, do you know her?" She smiled and looked at my wife who's already grinning.

"Di ka pa rin nagbabago Kyla, pilya ka pa rin, you haven't told your husband the good news"

"Sweetie" I called her

"Yuan, you're gonna be a father soon, it's supposed to be a surprise until you're birthday but Mom called me, she told me you're so desperate and all kaya nagpapilit na ako magpacheck up"

My birthday's in three days.

"Huy" kalabit n'ya sa akin. Napatulala nalang ako, so totoo nga? Magiging tatay na ako?

"Doc babae o lalaki?" Yun talaga ang una kong tinanong, tumawa lang si Doc. Kumunoot naman ang noo ko.

"Masyado pang maaga para malaman natin ang gender ng baby"

"Ah"

After namin pumunta ng OB, dinala ko s'ya sa mall.

"Bakit tayo nasa mall?" Tanong n'ya. I held her hand and start walking.

"Mag shopping na tayo ng mga gamit ni Baby" nakangiti kong sabi. Para akong nanalo sa lotto.

"Yuan Lincoln Ezekiel Stevens, di mo ba narinig si Doc? Di pa nga natin alam ang gender ng baby" inis na sabi n'ya.

"We'll buy both gender colors" I said.

"Magsasayang ka lang ng pera!"

"Ha? Basta para sa anak ko walang sayang" I defensively retorted.

I can't believe nag-aaway kami sa mall.

I sighed in defeat when I saw her fuming mad. Niyakap ko nalang s'ya, medyo teary eyes na rin kasi.

Buntis nga pala so expect ko na ang different mood swings and cravings at kung ano ano pang tantrums.

She's so adorable tho, I need to get use to this kind of Kyla not that I mind, I'd love to see different kind of her.

Oh, I love my wife.

"Okay sweetie, we're gonna go window shopping so that we have idea on what to buy next time okay?" I  reassured her, wiping her tears and gently pinching her nose, "I love you" she nodded and kissed me.

"I love you more I'm sorry kung pasaway ako" she said na parang bata na nag-sosorry ang cute cute talaga.

"How 'bout we eat something you like, yeah?" She excitedly threw herself at me.

"I want fries"

"Mcdo? Jollibee? Kfc?"

"Potato corner" she beamed throwing two mini hearts at me.

"Potato corner it is"
