Ian knew he couldn't stay pass two weeks, he needed to head back. And what's wrong with heading back early? He had nothing left here, Max was in the hospital and he knew he couldn't visit him. So why stay. Ian looked at his surroundings, he sat in a crappy motel room. The wallpaper was tearing and his dirty dishes began to stack up.
The sun began to set and he felt emotionally drained, which usually makes you physically drained. He leaned back in the chair and messed around in his hair.
"Max would want to see you." He thought.
"Max would want you to stay."

Ian looked over at the door and paused, he felt his chest burn. He knew what he had to do.

-

Max sat in the back seat of Katts car, she was completely silent. And Max didn't blame her, he felt horrible about the Katt situation. He broke her heart in the worst way. She gripped the steering wheel tightly, leaning back into her seat. She would occasionally looked at Max through the rear view mirror. She wasn't disgusted anymore, she was just devastated.
Once they began to pull up to Max's humble abode the mood changed completely. She parked and turned to him.
"Get the fuck out, now." She snapped, with hatred in her voice.
Max was completely dumbfounded, he stumbled a bit as he struggled to get out the car. He stood outside and watch Katt speed off.
The current moods and vibes was toxic, Max just wanted Katt to forgive him, somehow. And he also wanted her to sock him in the face. Ian was doubtful of literally everything and was trying his hardest to make a reasonable decision. Yet he had no idea what he was doing. All they knew is that they wanted to see each.
Max wondered into his house, it smelt the same and looked the same. Yet the lack of people caused Max to mumble. He was stressing, all he wanted to do is fix everything and never break anything again. Max almost puked again over the old vomit puddle in his kitchen. He looked down the hallway and noticed Katts stuff missing. She was already moving out. Max let out a long sigh, followed by a loud scream of irritation.
While Ian was getting out of his uber, he looked up at the hospital Max's was once in. He strolled in and began to question the nurse at the front. She looked extremely tired and drain, as she looked through the patients files. The nurse finally looked up and shook her head, reporting the news that make Ian shake a little bit.
"Mr Stanley checked out today actually." She told him as she went back to her paper work. Ian looked back outside the hospital, it was getting late and he couldn't possibly spend anymore money on an uber. He sat down on a bench outside of the building and began to looked through his twitter once again.
He scanned his contacts and began to call Max, just wanting to hear his voice. But he didn't answer. Ian was against the idea of leaving a voice mail so he just hung up. Ian dug into his wallet and realized he had enough money to get a uber back to the motel. But he could drive haft way to Max's house, and walk the rest.
He paused for a bit before making his decision.
