weak

weak

in the dark,
we stand all alone but
together.
you hold my hand and
I know in a moment
it's not meant to be
and you're bad for me,
but I fall for you.
hell, I'm weak.

alleyways reveal
gleaming eyes,
dangerous and wide.
I watch them.
trouble's on the edge of your
expression,
but I fall for you.
hell, I'm weak.

"back to your old ways,"
you said to me.
I was shrouded in your shadow
and soaking in my hurt.
but I fall for you.
hell, I'm weak.

midnight stoning and
poem burning.
across a bonfire,
you stare.
and hell, I'm still weak.
your smile is a killer,
so sweet and so bitter.

following your steps,
singing along to
the slowdown.
you are my antichrist,
but I fall for you.
this is our last fight.
our last riot.

every night.
again and again.
lost love becomes a flickering flame.
