A gust of wind blew across the corridor; the open notebooks remained still on the floor.

Someone’s movement broke the silence.

Jason Winter.

He swiftly put his arms around Hilary and brings her out of the crowd.

Josephine gave a slight nudge to Diana, who was in a state of shock from Jason’s sudden actions.

Macy pushed Diana forward softly, who shook her head at Josephine.

Josephine frowned and with one hand on her waist, she snapped her fingers right in front of Diana’s eyes. In a split moment, Diana seemed to have come back to life again.

“Jason! I can explain! It’s not what you think!” Diana snapped.

“Call me later?” Her voice drifted off.

She watched the two walk off into the distance as the crowd went back to the usual chatting and gossiping.

“Seems like you got yourself a competitor,” Macy pointed out.

“Better go chase after him,” Josephine suggested.

“I’m not so shameless! And it’s impossible that she can beat ME,” Diana stamped her foot and stomped off, with Macy and Josephine following behind her.
