(Y/N) POV

I woke up, and looked around. I saw the same boring wallpaper, the same boring furniture, and as I looked down I saw the same old bed comforter.

"Ugh dreaming about Hogwarts again..." I thought out loud to myself as I got up. It had been 15 years since I graduated Hogwarts, it had been 12 years since Sirius had been wrongly imprisoned. It had been 12 years since I lost my cousin and one of my best friends.

Flashback

"James! Lily!" I yelled out as I saw their house burst with shades of bright green, I had moved to Godric's Hollow after graduating to be there for James and Lily, they said that they needed the extra support, as well as protection. I had become an Auror and a damned respected one too, Sirius had also moved in with me, we were lovers for the first year, and became engaged in the next.

I quickly ran to their house, not too far from my own and saw Voldemort, his wand directed straight at Harry, he yelled out his curse, yet Harry sat strong as Voldemort's spell had backfired. Ignoring what had just happened I ran to Harry, he was a bloodcurdling, crying mess. I picked him up and rocked him, trying to soothe him, tears pouring out of my eyes.

A few minutes later I heard the door burst open, on instinct I pulled Harry closer and gripped my wand. Tears we're streaming down my face as I saw Severus step over James's body, as if it were not there. "Are you happy now Severus?" I asked him, my voice shaking. "They're both dead. As well as Voldemort." I stated as he flinched at the name.

"Where is she?" He muttered out. I knew he was talking about Lily, but I hadn't even got to mourn, he shouldn't be able to.

"She's over there. Right next to his body." I spit out, holding a now sleeping Harry against my chest. Severus walked over to where I motioned, he didn't have an ounce of curiosity about Harry.

I walked over to the front of the house, James's body was there, his jet black hair was pushed out of his face, his glasses were cracked, and his wand was gripped tightly in his hand. "James." I sobbed out, "Why'd you have to do this?" I asked his lifeless form. "Why did you have to fight?" I sobbed out, Harry stirred in my arms as I tried to steady myself. "James, you should've had me be the secret keeper, Sirius wanted to change it to me, why did you choose Peter, I told you he was a rat." I explained to the corpse below me. I bent over and pushed his hair in his face, the way he always had it. He looked like he always did.

I walked back over to see Severus rocking back and forth, Lily was in his arms. "Leave Severus." I told the sniffling greasy haired man. "The authorities and Sirius will be here soon, leave." I expanded on my point, Severus snarled at me and gently set Lily down.

"This is not what I wanted." He stated coming close to my face as he walked passed me. "Thank you for the warning." He said before he apparated out.

I walked to where Lily was and looked down at her face, she looked like she was sleeping, a face I often saw when I would pop by to take Harry for a bit. "Mobilarbus." I muttered as Harry floated in the air and into his crib, sound asleep. I squatted down next to Lily and picked her up. I knew that the house was a crime scene, but I didn't care. I brought Lily over to James, placing her side by side to him, their arms met, and it had seemed that in spirit they were holding hands.

"(Y/N)!" I heard Sirius's voice call from outside. I quickly ran back to Harry and grabbed him, stepping on Voldemort's face in the process, by accident. I slipped outside, the wind was howling, and Sirius looked distraught.

"(Y/n)!" Sirius exclaimed as he hugged me. "There you are, you weren't at the house, and I got worried, where's James?" He asked, his voice displayed his worry.
