After Hiccup leaving with Snotlout and Fishlegs to save Trader Johann from Dragon Hunters, you were left with Astrid and the twins. Let's just say things didn't exactly go very well..

Astrid and Ruffnut had a huge falling out and both got some very good points in their arguments, but you were pretty sure that Ruffnut was actually the victor of the day. You felt bad for Astrid though, she was stubborn at times and wouldn't accept her flaws but she wasn't a bad person. Long story short, Ruffnut got captured after that and it was up to you, Tuffnut and Astrid to save her and also protect Dragon's edge from the Dragon Hunters at the same time, you helped Astrid prepare the giant crossbows and catapults as best you could, then noticing a flying Tuffnut. You mounted Abscon and flew up to him "I'm afraid to ask whats going on here.." You sighed as he laughed nervously. "Reardless of how this looks, I can assure you I have a master plan concerning these balloons!" He told you as Astrid joined you. "I'm sure you do Tuffnut," You laughed before bringing him back down to his hut.

"This is gonna be a tough day..." You sighed as Abscon nuzzled you, you then hugging him back tightly. "Atleast I have you here with me though.." You smiled at him as he nuzzled you more. "Ok, TUFFNUT!!" Astrid shouted as he dragged a box of weapons outside. "Yeah?" "What are you doing?" She asked, looking at the box. "You know that if we ever get to close combat, and that there's 3 of us, we're dead if that happens right?" She asked him before shaking her head and commanding him to use the ballista on her roof to 'massively destroy' things.

"You feel the air?" Ryker asked Dagur, who glanced up at him before going back to keeping his gaze on Dragon's edge. "That's fear." Dagur kept his gaze planted on your hut before feeling a chill run up his spine as Ryker uttered the words "And soon...it'll be death.." His worry for you sky rocketed. Was he doing something wrong? probably..but he was doing all of this for (y/n)! For his true love! But..she didn't seem to appreciate all of the kidnapping attempts and trying to kill her dragon..maybe she didn't really still love him..'No, no Dagur you're being ridiculous! Of course she still loves you! She promised...'

Abscon kept spitting his acid over quivers of arrows and you handed them to Tuffnut as he fired them at the Dragon Hunter ships, then going on to attacking the few Dragon Hunters who made it onto the island. By dusk you had run out of arrows to cover in acid that wouldn't melt and were in the club house. "What are we gonna do..?" You whispered, stroking Abscon's head gently. "We could do my plan?" Tuffnut asked excitedly, to which you and Astrid looked at each other before deciding: What do we have to lose?

"Why attack dragons anyway? dragons are our friends!" You imitated your brother's voice and wished that he would get back sooner as you launched a spear at a Dragon Hunter. Tuffnut launched a wheel barrow of rocks at the invaders and they jumped into the water below, you smiled at Astrid and Tuffnut. "It's actually kind of working!" You beamed excitedly as Abscon and Stormfly shot spines and acid at Dagur and his small army of Dragon Hunters. "Nice try babe!" He shouted at you. You rolled your eyes before seeing an explosion and laughing with Astrid as you set off quickly back to the clubhouse.

"I think that's all we can do.." Astrid sighed, watching the remaining ships pull up to the edge. "Here's the plan. You two get on Stormfly and Abscon and leave. I'll stay here and hold them off." You stated, turning from looking at the ships to looking at them. They both looked shocked before Astrid began protesting "No! We're not leaving you here! You'll die!" "If I don't hold them off then we'll all die!" You told her before walking towards the edge of the ledge (haha that rhymed). Abscon lifted you onto his saddle. "Abscon...?" You muttered before dodging a few arrows that shot at you. "Whatever we're about to do, we should do it fast!" Astrid said, looking at Tuffnut for ideas as you set off with Abscon.

You held off the fleets of Dragon Hunters as best as you could, knocking arrows out of the way as Abscon fired a seemingly continuous flow of blue flames at the ships. You spotted Ryker with  axes in his hands and gasped as he threw one at you, Abscon dodging as did Tuffnut, who had previously been on the floor. Ryker threw the other axe at you with double the speed before being pushed over by an explosion of purple plasma behind him. You watched with tears of joy as Hiccup had finally appeared, but the look of joy suddenly faded as you realized you were falling to the ocean, and covered in blood. But it wasn't yours.

When you hit the ocean you heard Dagur and others screaming as blood seeped everywhere. You swam to the surface and gripped Abscon's leg, pulling him towards the beach as you watched Ryker being carried off by Heather. You turned to Abscon as you pushed yourself up. Your eyes widened. Your entire world stopped around you. You were frozen to the spot. Abscon was laying there, barely alive. An axe lodged deeply in his side, blood pouring out. You suddenly came to your senses as the others ran over to you as fast as they could. You dragged yourself over to Abscon, who looked at you. Tears welled up in your eyes and streamed down your face in waterfalls as you cradled his head in your hands, hugging him tightly. "Abscon!! Abscon please!! Don't leave me!!" You cried as you held him, staring into his eyes before he used the last of his strength to lick your cheek before going limp and closing his eyes for the last time.

You sat there, frozen once again. The Dragon Hunter ships barely out of the cove. You started shaking before un controllable sobbing and screaming over came you, your body hunched over Abscon's screaming for him to come back. Hiccup dropped next to you, hugging you close as you gripped his shirt, crying hysterically into his clothes. Hiccup began crying too, holding you tighter as he glowered at Ryker's ship which was growing more distant. Dagur watched from the ship. Suddenly aware of why you didn't want to go with him.
