chapter 17-The End of it? Part 1

Hello Everyone! Sorry for not updating in a while, but thankfully I got my exam results and I'm going on to be in my school's sixth form! Which unfortunately will possibly mean rare updates starting from next week unless I decide to pull a miracle and get out the chapters covering the end of season 4 and season 5 tonight an tomorrow. I'll probably do the last one and then we'll have to see what happens in season 6! Anyway, apologies again for in frequent updates, and on with the chapter!

You stood in the Berk hall, Hiccup going over the plans for the up coming absolutely huge mission. You were to go with Astrid and make sure there were no guards around Viggo's tent at the Dragon Hunter base. Once there, after taking out the rest of the guards surrounding the area, you would wait for Hiccup to arrive and stand on alert outside the tent.  Hiccup would then walk in, take the Dragon Eye back from Viggo and say "I'll take that" .

"really? 'I'll take that'? Seems a bit of a tame one liner if you ask me considering this is..you, Hiccup.." You chuckled as Tuffnut followed up with a monologue about how books will be written and plays will be made about the one moment. "You need a catchphrase that can withstand the test of time!"

Hiccup rolled his eyes as you leaned further back in your chair, laughing quietly to yourself.

"Well how about I work on something cool to say when we've taken him down?" 

"Au contraire mon ferère"

"Thats not how you pronounce that Tuff...!" You started laughing a little harder as you out your hand on your forehead and leaned back more. 

"We will work on something cool for you to say when we take him down!". The twins then proceeded to walk out of the hall whilst planning what Hiccup would say.

Outside of the hall you stood next to Hiccup as your Stoick patted him on the back. It was obvious that he was proud of him and you both, you had grown up so much in the past 3 years. "He's right you know! You really were amazing coming up with that plan!" You laughed, hugging him. "Thanks (y/n), I just hope it works out.." "It will! Don't worry! I'm proud of you anyway!" You looked off to the side and nudged Hiccup as your father walked away. "What is it?" He asked you before looking to where you pointed. Astrid was standing there, beaming with pride. "Go on. I'm gonna go meet Dagur and Heather, they should be here about now!" You pushed your brother closer to Astrid before running down the stairs towards Taran. 

"Oh, I was right, talk about intuition- Heather! Dagur!" You shouted over to them as they landed with their dragons on the cliff. Heather beamed at you and rushed over, pretty much slamming into you with a hug. "Are you excited? Because I am! We'll finally get to take Viggo down once an for all!!" Dagur exclaimed, spinning you around after you were released by Heather. "Yeah kind of, I just want to be extra careful. So nothing goes wrong and no one ends up..well you know..but I'm sure they wont. Especially considering all of the planning Hiccup's done to prepare for it." You smirked whilst walking with them towards the others. Dagur's hand was gripping yours tightly, almost like he was nervous. 

As you approached the group closer, you all separated to prepare for the up coming night. Dagur pulled you to a side, acting cautiously. "Whats wrong hun?" You asked him, holding his hand in your soft one. "I uh..I'm worried about you..I don't want anything to happen to any of the others, but especially you..especially considering what could happen with you after what..we uh..did.." This was the first time you had seen Dagur get so flustered, "Dagur, do you really think I didn't consider that before I slept with you?" You asked him, almost laughing but stopping yourself when you saw how concerned he was. "I know! But i mean..I guess if something like that is going to happen, I don't want anything to happen to the baby..if there is one.." He looked as if he was about to break down from stress so you kissed his cheek and wrapped your arms around him. "Everything is going to be fine, you'll see! And there's nothing to worry about! If I was pregnant I would know by now!" You said quietly, so no one could hear apart from Dagur. He wrapped his arms around you tighter, obviously not wanting to let go. 

Before getting on Taran Dagur kissed you fully on the lips. "Please be careful, ok (y/n)? promise?" He asked you, staring at you with a hugely concerned look on his face. "I will, I promise~" He sighed and smiled, releasing his grip  on your waist. "I love you!" He told you as he mounted Shattermaster. "I love you too Dagur~" You chuckled as you jumped onto Taran, bursting into the sky. 

It was safe to say the mission didn't go as planned. The Dragon Hunter camp was already in ruins when you got there, and this didn't help Dagur's worry for you at all. You and Astrid gave Hiccup puzzled looks when he got to the main tent, and you both opened the curtains to it whilst looking at each other with the same expressions. You looked in after your brother and grimaced.

" ooooh yeah this place has been wrecked good.." You said through gritted teeth. "I'll go search the island with the others! Dagur what are you-" Stoick was cut off by Shattermaster abruptly landing and Dagur throwing himself off the dragon and onto you. "Are you ok?! Nothing's happened right!?" He asked frantically. "Dagur I'm fine! Everything's wrecked though..It's so weird.." You flinched slightly as you heard Hiccup throw a table in the tent. Moments later he stuck his head out with an incredibly angry yet confused look on his face. "You guys might want to see this.." You turned to Dagur and told him to go and search the island whilst you took care of this. To your surprise he did as you asked, and you walked into the tent. Stopping immediately and glaring daggers at the man who sat in the chair. Viggo was looking at the ground. He looked up at you and caught your glare.

 "You look like dragon sh-"

 "(y/n) now is not the time."

After the other dragon riders had gathered Stoick abruptly entered the tent, seizing Viggo by the neck. "You come after my son and daughter, you come after my home, now you get to deal with me!" He roared as Hiccup tried to stop him. "For me son, revenge goes down a treat." Hiccup looked at you as if to try to get you to help him calm down your father. "Same goes for my Hiccup, sorry. Guess that's one of the few things I get from dad.." You had clearly had enough of Viggo's crap to just have him be interrogated. I mean it was his brother who killed Abscon.

About a day had passed since you had taken Viggo to the Defenders of the wing island. Mala was not exactly pleased to have Viggo on her island but she made do of it. After having been attacked by some interesting sort of artillery, you had then flown out to try and find it, only to pretty much have Ryker say the same thing as Viggo when you ran into him. Hiccup had to stop you from cutting him open there and then when you saw the white flag. After that, you had discovered that Berserker island was under attack, and Taran had carried you at the front of the group as you raced over there. You made sure that Dagur and Heather were alright before going to try and save as many citizens as you were able to. Afterwards, Hiccup filled you in back at the clubhouse. "So this 'Project Shellfire' thing is actually a dragon..?" You asked him, amazed. "Yes, it's most likely a tidal class dragon, bigger than a Submaripper and with long range firing capability." "But they don't attack people.." "I know, so they're forcing it to do it.." "Subjugation.." Tuffnut stated sadly. You looked at him with wide eyes. "What? I Listen and learn!" You rolled your eyes as Hiccup walked out of the clubhouse, clearly stressed and upset about everything that had happened. You patted Astrid's shoulder as she looked at you sadly. "Don't worry, sometimes there's nothing you can do to make some feel better. But the best thing you can do is give them space." You told her, smiling softly. She smiled back, even if it was halfheartedly.
