It had been weeks since you had lost Dagur and had gone back to Berk. Your father had told you that you had received countless Terror mails from Hiccup and the others, but you didn't dare open them. Of course you saw your brother and the others at Berk's 400th anniversary celebration, where you found out that Hiccup had gotten a bounty on his head and had gone absolutely livid, but if any of them even tried to mention Dagur you would cast them a glare that would make even Thor shake in his -probably massive- boots. In the end, Stoick told them to give you your space, and they did. You usually stayed in your room with Taran, sometimes taking flies around the island when you needed to get some fresh air or your father told you that you needed sunlight. The villagers all obviously noticed what Dagur's death had done to you. They all still hated him for what he had tried to do to Berk in the past, but tried to comfort you despite that. The A team helped you sort of get back on your feet by letting you train with them, even though you were obviously far more experienced with them and had a Skrill for your dragon.

"(y/n)! Stoick has urgent news for you from Hiccup!" Gobber shouted to you as he flew over on Grump, his dragon which he had got not too soon after the day you hated remembering but seemed to always think back to. Taran edged closer to him. "About what?" Your voice was a lot softer than it usually was due to hardly speaking to anyone in the past few weeks. "He wouldn't tell me when I asked him, it'll be something important, you'd better go to him!" You sighed and Taran took off in a burst of speed towards your house.

"Dad?" You asked, opening the door and stepping in. You looked around and saw him sitting at the table, looking completely shocked, yet almost happy..? "Dad..? What's...?" Before you could utter any more words, Stoick pushed an extremely long letter into your arms. "Just read. Don't skim it, read every word of it and take it in. After you've read it you can react, but now. Just read." He told you firmly before sitting down at the table, motioning for you to sit down as well. You gave him a strange look, but sat anyway. As you read the letter, which turned out to be about 2 feet long and written by Hiccup in his smallest writing, you were over come with an array of emotions that you had almost forgotten in the past weeks. Information on an auction Viggo had held, a new tribe who respected dragons and almost killed all of your friends over the fact that they were riding said flying reptiles, Snotlout trying to take over control of the Dragon Riders, a new species of ocean dragon named to Submaripper which you thought sounded absolutely terrifying and also that most of the riders had almost gone insane from lack of sleep from the midnight sun. The last part seemed a little off though, as if what had started off as a casual-extremely lengthy- letter to you that would have been worked on for days was suddenly finished with speed with the sentence.

And (y/n), I have no idea how to tell you this, but Dagur is alive! He's here on the Edge now. You may not believe me but please just come here and see for yourself! Also sorry for the inconvenience of the length of the letter, I wasn't risking sending multiple terrors out with multiple letters in case they got ambushed by Hunters..

Love you,

Your brother, Hiccup

you stared at the last part of the letter, dropping it to the table as tears spilled out of your eyes. You looked up at Stoick who had walked over to you and was holding your shoulder. "You can react now love. Go to them." He smiled warmly at you as you lunged into a hug with him and bolted out of the door towards Taran. "TARAN!! HURRY!! WE'VE GOT TO GO!!" You shouted at your startled dragon. "What's the hurry lass?" Gobber asked you, equally as startled. "No time to explain!! Come on Taran!" You jumped onto your dragon and he rocketed into the sky, leaving a small crater from the speed. "What in the archipelago what that about? It's like she's gone crazy!" Gobber asked Stoick as he walked up. "Love. Love makes people do crazy things.." Stoick smiled at you. "She's like me at that age when it came to Valka.."

Taran sped through the mist leading to the 'great beyond' as fast as he could, nothing more on your mind than getting to the Edge. To Dagur. To being back in his arms. You smiled as you started tearing up at the sight of light ahead. With taran being as energized as he was, the hours spent flying through the vastness of the mist and ocean had turned into 2 or 3 at least. You past countless islands that you recognized before seeing the back of Dragon's Edge coming closer to you. Taran soared around the side of the island before reaching the familiar cove. Landing with a jolting thud next to the stables you almost flung yourself off Taran as you began pretty much screaming "HICCUP!! ASTRID?! FISHLEGS?! DAGUR!?"

Hiccup suddenly went silent with the rest of the Riders as the sound of a thud near the stables. "What was that..?" Dagur asked , going to walk out. "Wait!" Hiccup whisper shouted, holding out an arm in front of Dagur to prevent him possibly getting shot by a Dragon Hunter. Then they heard it. Your voice shouting out from the stables. It was faint, but they heard it well. "Hiccup!! Astrid?! Fishlegs?! Dagur!?" Dagur almost exploded from excitement as he shot forwards out of the clubhouse and towards the stables, the others following him closely.

You ran out of the stables, looking all around you for signs on anyone to be on the edge before turning to your front just before meeting eyes with the certain Berserker who had stole your heart. Subconsciously tears streamed out of your eyes as he slowed down running towards you at full speed. He stopped a few feet in front of you, almost scared to go nearer to you for fear of breaking you. Your hands covered your mouth and one went out to touch him, shaking from the adrenaline and shock. He looked shocked for a second before smiling and walking closer to you. Your hand brushed his cheek, the touch sent shocks up your arm before you shot forwards and buried your head in his  shoulder, sobs racking your body once again over the same man. You felt his arms wrap around your protectively, his hand stroking your hair. "Its ok now (y/n) my love..I'm here...I'm always gonna be here with you from now on..I'm not gonna leave you again.." You looked up from his shoulder and wiped your tears, looking up at him. "Y-You.." You breathed, calming down a little "Never do that again!! You hear me?!" You exclaimed breathlessly as he chuckled, stroking your cheek. "Never again, I promise my love.." He told you, his smile turning slightly insane once again before kissing you softly. You gladly returned the kiss immediately. Once you broke apart, you started laughing faintly as he lifted you up from the floor and hugged you tightly. You looked past him to Hiccup and the others who were smiling. Apart from the Twins obviously, they were making fun of the whole situation to be honest. You didn't care though. You were finally home with the man you loved.

*Hello! Sorry for not writing at all recently, I have no excuse. I literally couldn't be bothered to write, what with trying to find a summer job etc so..haha...but yeah! There should be another chapter coming out during this week! Thank you for reading!*
