"I don't get it, why don't you just go and stay with him (y/n)? That would be easier for everyone!!" Snotlout told you as you and Hiccup got ready to set off. You looked at him questioningly. "It really wouldn't. I mean it would help if we ever have to make a bargain again but.." Astrid trailed off, looking at Hiccup who was facing the horizon. "It's not that, for one I don't want to have to fight you if Dagur told me to, and for two..I haven't forgiven him for what he's done yet.." you explained. Snotlout rolled his eyes. "At least let us back you up!" Astrid pointed out, walking towards you and Hiccup. "I don't want to risk anything bad happening to Hiccup or Gustav if we don't follow his demands to the letter...which means that you can't come with us Abscon.." You told her and your dragon, who pushed into your stomach gently. "It's ok bud..I'll see you again.." You sighed, patting his head. "We'll be careful, I promise." Hiccup told her, before you jumped onto Toothless behind Hiccup set off with Fanghook.
Dagur leaned on the side of the ship in boredom, waiting for you and Hiccup, but mainly you for obvious reasons. Savage spotted you and Hiccup off in the distance. "There!" He shouted, pointing. Dagur shot up and watched as you pulled in closer to the ship, Toothless landing cautiously next to Fanghook, who looked relieved to see Gustav ok. His rider ran forwards and hugged him, "I got worried about you boy!" Dagur rolled his eyes at this "Dragon and Dragon Rider love, makes me want to hurl!" He then made a fake puking noise. "Dagur it would help a lot if you weren't so childish right now." You told him, instantly he stopped. "Gustav are you ok?" Hiccup called over. Gustav nodded whilst still hugging onto Fanghook's neck. Dagur marched forwards, a smirk etching its way further onto his face. "Thats close enough Dagur!" you shouted from behind Hiccup. "Oh wow, where's the trust? after all we've been through together (y/n) my love? Hiccup?" He asked you sarcastically. 'I really hate you sometimes..' "What, no Hiccupy barbs, quips, snappy comebacks? Oh but I love those! We've developed such a nice short hand you and I!" He cackled.
"Dagur let's just get on with this. Send them over!" "You first!" "Hiccup, just let me go over there.." You whispered, having him hand you the Dragon eye before you slid off Toothless, patting his head before walking over to Dagur. He opened his arms for you to walk into his embrace. You did so, resting your head on his shoulder. He took the Dragon eye out of your grip and held you tighter, grinning at you "It really is a magnificent artifact! And I hear it can be very helpful for the people who possess it? Is that true??" He asked, clearly mocking Hiccup. "c'mon Gustav, let's go." Hiccup said, you looked at said wannabe Dragon rider. "Yeah about that..I've been treated much better with these guys than I ever was treated by you and the others!" Gustav told Hiccup.
You gasped a little as Dagur chuckled "And the plot thickens!" He said, clearly very amused by all of this."Gustav, you have no idea what you're getting into!" Hiccup warned, you noticed something off about his tone of voice. "Oh yes, I do Hiccup. I know exactly what I'm doing.." Hiccup and Gustav glared at each other for a minute before Dagur interrupted the silence. "Well, I believe this is where your business ends brother! Ordinarily I'd double cross you and fill you full of arrows, but (y/n) would hate me for doing that and the kid is squeamish. He made me promise to let you go, and in return, he's gonna take me to a treasure!" 'he doesn't mean...' You thought as Dagur pulled you towards Gustav. "That's right Hiccup! We have the Dragon eye and Fanghook's fire! And you know what that means!" 'oh Thor he does mean..' "Untold treasure awaits!" 'oh no..' you thought, whilst also noting how Hiccup and Gustav both had rather strange tones of voice considering what you were used to hearing.
"You are going to regret this.." Hiccup told them, mounting Toothless and giving you a worried look. You looked back at him with a small smile to try and help him calm down. "I don't think so Hiccup!" Gustav said arrogantly. You watched Hiccup fly away and look back at you as Dagur spun you to look at him. "You're finally mine! Here! With me!" He cackled, picking you up and holding you there. You noticed then how much stronger and larger his arms were..it must have been a hard time in prison...you noticed his scar and subconsciously ran your finger down is when Dagur put you down, furrowing your eyebrows. He noticed your somewhat concerned look and put his hand over yours. "My scar?" "What...how did you get it..?" You asked quietly. "That, my sweet, is a story for another day I'm afraid, for now! SAVAGE!! GET THIS WRECK MOVING!!" He screamed at the poor outcast.
"(y/n), stay here. We'll only be a minute!" Dagur instructed you, leaving you on the boat as the other Berserkers jumped off their ships and onto the sand. You sighed and leaned on the side of the railing. You could most definitely escape if you wanted to, but if you did that would mean Gustav would definitely be killed in Dagur's rage over losing you again. You groaned as you leaned backwards to peer over the side of the ship facing the ocean, almost choking as you swung back up and turned around. A changewing was flying full speed towards you. You watched as it got closer, suddenly changing its scales and blending in with the ocean as it got closer. You noticed something. It had a saddle. You smiled lopsidedly, 'Even when I told you not to you still followed didn't you bud..' You thought happily as the now floating saddle got closer to the end of the ship you were nearest. You clambered onto the side just as Savage boarded the ship. "Hey, what are you doing?!" He shouted, running towards you, Berserkers armed themselves with arrows. You jumped down as arrows flew at you. Yo hit Abscon's saddle and felt pain rush up your left side. An arrow was lodged in just underneath your hip. You winced as you touched it, then suddenly pulling it out. Blood began pouring out of the wound as Abscon panicked "It's ok bud, go into the caves! They wont follow us there!" You told him, then holding on as he zipped into the caverns.
Abscon padded quietly through the cave as you heard cackling and the sounds of rocks collapsing. You gasped as you saw Dagur running out of the collapsing cavern. "Dagur!" You shouted as he noticed you on Abscon. "(y/n)?! What are you doing on that dragon in here?!" He was cut off by the cave collapsing. Abscon grabbed Dagur and flew as fast as he could out of the cave and threw him onto the sand. You felt yourself losing blood fast. Dagur growled and looked up at you, noticing your leg. "(y/n)! You're bleeding! How did that happen?! Who did it?!" He asked you, looking around at the Berserkers who were busy trying to hide their crossbows. "Its..its nothing.." You gasped as Abscon went to set off. "No, NO DON'T DO THIS TO ME AGAIN!!" Dagur screamed at you. You looked at him and felt guilt run through you, he looked like he was going to be torn apart by you leaving. "Haven't you forgiven me yet?! What do I have to do to prove that-" "Shut it!!" You shouted at him, Abscon growled. "You don't get it do you!! As long as you keep attacking my family and friends its going to take longer for me to forgive you!! Hell I may never at this rate!!" Abscon burst into the sky and shot over the ocean surface faster than any Berserker could get their crossbow out. Leaving Dagur there, feeling his heart shatter. "Sir?" Savage asked cautiously, walking closer. "She has to forgive me someday..other wise everything I've done will have been for nothing!" Dagur started chuckling to himself, which escalated to full on insane laughter..
