Chapter 9
"Bakit nandito ka pa?" I almost raised my voice implying a disgust upon seeing her. I fixed a gazed at her, placing my dinner at the table. I think she already knew I was gazing and that I'm cursing her inside that it made her feel quite awkward. I was already grinning, thinking she's so predictable, while I was trying to get up.
"Eh hindi na kasi ako tumuloy. Babawi nalang ako sa ibang araw." I hate that kind of tone. That even made my grin became totally serious. Ibig ba niyang sabihin ako pa ang dahilan kung bakit di siya natuloy? Who needs her anyway? She's useless. "At saka tinatamad na rin kasi akong magpunta. Pinauna ko nalang si Ipe." bawi niya ng makita niya atang nakataas ang isa kong kilay.
"I'd prefer without you in this house." sagot ko bago ko sinikap tumayo para lumipat sa table. She intended to help me but I swung my arm away from her. She should know her boundaries. I don't like other people being so touchy. "You can get out now. I can eat by myself and I don't need an audience." sabi ko and without a word dahan dahan siyang umalis.
Darn it! I thought I could get her off my skin for two days. I guess I'm just so unfortunate. Tsss!

*Knocking *knocking
That girl really won't stop until she gets me. Really!!!
"Thea?" automatic akong napalingon ng marinig ko ang boses ni Lawrence. It's obvious that he's worried. So that's means, he already knew about me getting sick. "I heard you're sick. How're you feeling?" tumabi siya sakin sa pagkakaupo. Sinapo niya yung noo ko para macheck yung temperature ko. What's with this fellow?
"Well. Sick, maybe? Tss! Huli ka na. I'm already getting better." I said taking his hand off my forehead then continued eating. Inalok ko siyang kumain pero tapos na raw siya so I hurried up finishing my meal.
"I didn't expect that you'll come, anyway." sabi ko pagkatapos kong kumain. I walked towards my bed. Sumunod lang siya. "It's too awkward for you and mom." nagbukas ako ng tv para mabasag ang katahimikan ng paligid.
"I still wanna know if you're alright. Tss! Hindi ko pa malalaman na may sakit ka kung hindi sinabi ni Philip sakin. Buti pa siya alam niya." then I saw him pout. Ang sarap niyang pukpukin ng remote!
"Tumigil ka, Lawrence." ngumiti lang siya sa kawalan habang nililibot ng paningin ang paligid ng kwarto ko. I let him with that. Matagal na rin ang nakalipas mula nung huling nagpunta siya dito sa bahay. Simula nang umuwi siya sa probinsya at manirahan sa mga lola niya hindi na talaga siya nakakabisita kahit pa nung makabalik na siya.
