Chapter 10
"What is she doing here?" my voice is calm but there's a threat in every word. I was talking to Lawrence but I'm gazing at Ivory from the side mirror. It's just that Lawrence will be driving but still, this is my car. My car, my rules.
"She's going with us." confident na sagot niya smiling as if I'm gonna agree in an instant and that made me turn to Ivory. Nahihiya pa siyang umiwas ng tingin.
In a typical moment I could've drove her off, tell her to get out, and get lost. But I guess, I just grew tired of it. What's the point? Lawrence always gets what he wants. I couldn't bear losing from him in this kind of argument.
"Don't do anything stupid." I said referring to them both. I focused myself on the road. Paano na nga ako napunta sa sitwasyon na to? Hayyysss!

"What is he doing here?" will I be asking the same question again and again? Looking at Herrera's bright smiling face made me think of walking out of the resturant. Lawrence's idea of a date is so stupid.
"I think Ivory should have a date too, you know." sagot ni Lawrence having his clever smile again. Yeah right! As if! He sat right next to Herrera. What's his first name again? Oh yeah.Marcus.
"Go on, sit." aya sakin ni Lawrence na maupo sa tapat niya. I glared at him upon taking a sit.
"Your idea of a perfect day is stupid." tamad na tamad kong sabi, just in time for a waiter to come. "Just give me a bottle of red wine." utos ko sa waiter. All of them became cautious. Why? Would they stop me? As if they can. "I'm on legal age to drink, haven't I?" since walang ibig sumagot sa mga kasama ko, I glared at the waiter standing beside me. Bahagya pa siyang umurong. I wouldn't bite. Sira ulong waiter to ah.Tss!
"I guess a glass won't hurt." sabi ni Lawrence. I smiled automatically. He really knows how to spoil me even just a little.
So they ordered each for themselves. Lawrence did a good job on knowing which food I would prefer. So I just stood quiet. I'm not interested on their topics. Lame ones, really. Getting to know each other my ass!
"Sa amusement park tayo after ah. Ano? Game?" aya ni Lawrence. Since I was already eating, I focused myself on that. I should perfectly stay quiet so they wouldn't have to ask me those silly questions.
"Ano sa tingin mo, Thea?" I really wanted to ignore him but since he asked me...
