Sweetness

Chapter 7

Beam walked slowly, examining the room's number.

Wow, even the hallway were gorgeous. The natural light streamed inside from the rows of floor to ceiling windows, shaded by a lush pot of plant. The floor were polished marble, gently gleamed by reflected sunlight.

Easily he found room number 7.

Its door were hard wood, with rich dark brown color and look heavy. The doorbell button located on his right. Should he pushed it now? It's almost 9. He weren't late but was it alright to come earlier? Yes, of course it was. It's better being early than late.

Beam pushed the door bell. He didn't wait long until he saw the person behind the door.

Forth just finished his video call with his team members. Everything were on schedule and Jan ensured him that the finishing will be done on three weeks. He wished he could celebrate with them but he could not.

He examined his latest project.

The airport design were great blend. It had a touch of classic Argentina culture where the major design is ultra modern. He truly liked that building.

His doorbell suddenly ringed.

He closed his laptop then went to his front door. It seemed his morning appointment had arrived. Forth reached the knob and opened it. Outside he saw a young man standing.

He eyed the kid up and down. Pale skin, black hair, cute button nose, pink lips and playful eyes. Even if the eyes looks scared right now. The kid shifted his standing, seemed nervous. Well, he should be.

"So, you are my company tonight. How do I call you, N?"

"Beam. My name is Beam."
"Ok, name's Forth. Get in."

The kid or N'Beam gave him a greeting then came inside.
 
Well, at least the kid were polite. He met all kind of people this past decade. No one could irked him faster than bad manner.

"You could sit down on the couch, na, I'll grab our drink. I'm sorry the place is kinda empty. I'll tell you about it later."

Beam nodded and sit down while Forth fetched the drink. Beam were kinda surprised. When Ging told him that his possible patron..no, P'Forth is handsome, he didn't expect that he is this handsome.

Lush hair, cupid's bow lips, muscular body and killer smile. Wow, maybe he indeed did hit the jackpot. He seemed to be in his early thirty; already mature and sure about himself but still looked slightly wild.

"Sorry, I only got orange juice. I hope it's alright."

Beam received the glass. "Thank you na, P'. It's already a treat."

Forth sat next to Beam and sipped his juice. "So, let me introduce myself first and tell me about yourself, na N'Beam. Name's Forth, my real name isn't well matched with my face so let's leave it at that. I'm 32, 33 this September. I worked overseas as an engineer for several years. I like motorbike, had tattos at someplace, love spicy food and jazz music. You could see I had piercing. My mother lived at Shongkla with my older sister, my brother were currently at Chiang Mai and working as botanist. Now your turn, tell me about your self."

Beam rubbed his hands together. "Mm, my name's Beam, I turned 20 next month. I'm a second year medical student at Khantanapat University. I'm good at tutoring math and english, I know how to cook and I had two best friend, Ai Kit, I usually call him Ai Kitty, haha, and Ai Pha. I  could play piano and I had a teddy bear named Bona. Is that enough, P?"

Forth chuckled. This kid were sweet. When relaxed and smiling, he got a very sweet smile - like his whole face were smiling with him. "I believed it's enough. And we have one almamater, I graduated from K-Uni. They still called it that, right? So who is the current moon? Were he good?"

And not only handsome, the guy were also smart. Talked about one perfect packet.

"Of course P'! Eventhough Ai Pha is bossy and seemed arrogant, he's loyal and smart! Not to mention really good looking! Last year, two stars were fighting over him and got their faculty banned from participating from the competition. Much drama happened last year, hehehe.." Beam wanted to tell Forth more of it.

"You got interesting year, huh? Then what are you doing this year?"

And Beam started to talk. A lot.
