That sudden question choked Beam on his lunch, the spicy tom yum soup just went down the wrong pipe and it burned like a bitch in heat. Beam gulped his ice water to dose the fire in his throat and caught Kit's curious eyes. Pha even stopped his incessant Line chatting with Yo.

Beam looked his bestfriends' faces. Both looked curious and.. is that worry? There were this crease at the corners of Kit's eyes and thin line on Pha's forehead. Beam closed his mouth. Both were worried then.

Pha examined the close-mouthed Beam. He were bitting his lower lip, means he still judged whether he wanted to talk or not. So, something regarding that matter does happened then. "It's okay to admit if you do, Ai Beam. Remember your advice? Stop worriying about what others think and pursue your happiness. Me and Kit will support you no matter what."

Kit huffed at hearing that and folded his hands on his chest. "If you really are in love, we only wanted you to be happy. Why are you so hesitant to tell us about it?"

Beam kept worriying his lower lip. Oh, in for a penny, in for a pound. "Because the one I fell in love is P'Forth."

Kit suddenly felt his forehead throbbed. Oh, migrain. Great. Not. He rubbed his temple in circle. Pha litterally freezed beside him. Beam watched his bestfriends reactions. Well, he kinda expected those. But he never expected that it will be this hurt.

Beam knew, for most people, it were complicated to understand. His relationship with Forth started with money as its based. But gradually, Beam felt something different toward Forth. He didn't know how it started but he really did. Beam already fell quite hard to him. And he knew that Forth felt the same.

"Are you sure that you are not just fall into lust with him? I saw those hickeys you now."

Beam blushed a little. Well, when P'Forth put those on his body, Beam actually also put several of his on him. Ok, may TMI. But Kit's question made him slightly sad.

"I believe when you are in love, you are also in lust with the one you're in love with, no? Am I not allowed to fall in love with him, though?"

That words made Kit gaped. What the hell were Beam talking about? Pha, being the least articulate among the three of them seemed to know the real question. He chose to elaborate what Kit wanted to say.

"Of course you are allowed to fall in love with anyone you want. We were just worried, that's all. We didn't want you to get hurt. In the matter of the heart, we couldn't protect you at all because your heart is free and utterly yours."

Beam blinked at hearing that. Oh. Oh. Wow, he indeed chose the creme de la creme of friends. Kit clucked his tounge.

"I second all Pha had said. And the most important question is does he love you, too?"

Kit's question made Beam smiled a little. "Yes, yes he did. He said it directly to my face. It's still counted even if he said it after we had sex, right?"

The sound of Kit slapping his own forehead echoed on their ears.
