Actually Beam never expected that Forth would be such a.. spoiled (is that the right word?) patient. Especially when the case was someone as fit as him had to succumb to flu.

Beam saw his flushed face and watery eyes. The sneeze attacks were draining his energy. Beam tightened his masker. When Forth texted him to ask for a visit, Beam somewhat deduced that he had to be armed to the teeth. Hence his appearance.

Beam wore his mask, put on his cotton gloves and wore a netral glasses. Kit really laughed his ass off at his appearance.

"Ai Beam, why the hell you look like a stalker? What's with the glasses and gloves? Don't you think it's a little bit to much?"

Beam turned his glare at Kit.

As if!

Beam still remembered how his friends appearance looked like when they tend him at the time he was down with flu. Even the healthy as bull Pha wore the mask and Kit were armed with sanitizer wipes.

Sometimes having doctors in training as your best friends were no fun. But yeah, germs were everywhere, people!

"Shut up, Kitty! I still remembered how Pha and you armed yourself around me the last time I caught the flu. I felt like I was thrown into an alien movie, especially with your retro glasses and cap."

Kit huffed and pointed his forefinger at Beam.

"My retro glasses are awesome, thank you! While you looked like a suspicious person who want to spy at someone's wife. Seriously Beam, maybe P'Forth flu wasn't so bad. Were you sure you had to bring the gloves and glasses? The mask I approved, though."

Beam stayed put and brought his self that way to Forth' condo. He felt blessed with his decision.

Usually, as in normal condition, his patron were a neat person. But when he's sick, Forth seemed to let go his inhibition and littered everywhere. Like the whole floor.

When Beam opened the door with his spare key, he saw the shoes were haphazardly put at the entry. Move further inside, used tissue littered the floor.

The moment he opened the main bedroom, Beam saw used tissue covered part of the bedroom floor, changed clothes on the bed, and a bundled Forth in the middle of his king size bed. Then the sneeze attacks happened.

Forth could felt someone's stare at him. When he could focused his eyes, he almost leaped when he saw someone with medical mask on their face, gloves and glasses.

"Wha.." His words were interupted with a sudden sneeze. God, he hated this! Forth reached for the tissue box, blew his nose and just threw it away somewhere. He sneezed again and repeated the order.

Beam only blinked then sighed at seeing that.

"Wow, you just spread the germs everywhere, P'! Thankfully I equipped myself quite well. So how about I changed the sheet and cleaned the room from the sea of used tissue while you wiped yourself in the bathroom?"

Forth laid his throbbing head at his sunken pillow.

"Bee, is that you? Why do you look like a stalker?"

Beam gasped then marched forward to yank his duvet. Forth turned his scowling face toward Beam.

Beam litterally manhandled him to the bathroom and made him sat on the closed toilet. Forth felt his head swam.

"Hands up. Good."

"Bee, I felt my head swam around. And you still looked like a stalker."

Beam frowned and just wiped Forth down with such efficiency. Beam fetched a clean tshirt and shorts then helped his sluggish patron to change his clothes. It felt like a hurricane of activities.

Beam deposited the runny nose man on the couch, gave him the spare blanket, tissue box and a bowl of porridge plus medicine then started his tidying freenzy while Forth still tried to gather his wit. Being sick sucked big time.

The moment Beam finished his work, it's already lunch time. Beam saw his patient feel asleep on the couch. He took off his gloved and touched Forth's forehead. It still felt somewhat lukewarm. Beam let the man slept  while he cooked some soup and toast.

Forth were awaken by a gentle shake on his shoulder. He tried to chase the sleepiness and saw Beam (still armored by his mask) brought a bowl of tomato soup and toast.

"Bee.. lunch?"

Beam nodded and sat down beside him. Forth didn't even bothered to sit straight. He only slided slightly and threw quite convincing puppy eyes at Beam.

"Feed me, na Bee.."

Beam raised his eyebrow at hearing that then, with a chuckle, took off his mask and grabbed the spoon.

The hot tomato soup smelt wonderful.

Beam blew it gently and spoon feed the whiny patient. It seemed Forth were actually quite hungry. Beam felt relieved when he cleaned the bowl and finished the toast. Beam checked his watch.

"P'Forth, drink your medicine first then let's move to the bedroom, ok? I'll eat my sandwich there with you."

Beam wore his mask once again and marched the older man, complete with all his weapons (tissue box and blanket) to the bedroom. Beam finished his simple lunch and checked his patient.

Forth already snuggled his blanket and fell asleep once again.  Beam exhaled a relieved sigh. He played with Forth's hairs then kissed his forehead.

The bed look so inviting. Beam yawned. Maybe it's ok if he closed his eyes for a moment since his patient already went to dreamland. He'll ask for his kiss when Forth felt better.
