Chapter 22

Beam kept listening to what Pha were saying for another minute before he could end the call. When he chose to bring P'Forth here, he'd never imagine to make it to be such drama! Stupid Pha. Now he had to apologize again to P'Forth along with made sure that there's no way in hell P'Forth desire Yo sexually.

Forth were back at their table, bringing along a tray laden with foods and drinks. Hastily he help Forth to lay out their lunch. Beam felt slightly guilty to let the older man purchased everything. Seeing Beam's discomfort, Forth only waved his hand.

"Don't worry, Beam, I knew you were occupied. Let's eat, it's lunch time already." With that, Forth started to eat nonchalantly.

Beam sipped his iced tea. What to do now?

"P'Forth.. hmm, Beam were sorry na, on Ai Pha's behalf. Please forgive him. Pha's a good guy and a great friend even if he's a bull sometimes. Take no hard feeling, na P'."

Beam unconciously turned on his full charms. Making eye contact from below his fringes, biting his lips and a shy smile with a soft voice. This is underhanded. Forth reached towards Beam's faced and pinched his nose. Hard. The kid is way too cute sometimes.

"Forgiven. Now, eat. I didn't buy if for you to let it go uneaten."

Beam's face brighten. Ok, crisis averted. With that, their Saturday together moved on. Eventhough Beam still utterly curious about Forth and Yo, now weren't the right time to ask.

Generally speaking, Kit is not a patient person. He got a temper and a smart mouth. And no, it's not a compensation for his short legs, mind you.

With his light skin, fluffy hairs and small stature, people often mistaken him as someone.. soft. They never hit fartest remarks from reality. And now, he really really wanted to deck the annoying junior in front of him.

Ming gaved him another teasing smile. Kit didn't know what to make with this guy. Since Pha literally dragged him and Beam to the beach where the team will do photoshoot and filming for star moon competition, he chose to enjoy their available free time.

He accepted the drinking invitation from the other sophomore, knowing Pha will be busy pampering the car sick Yo. Knowing Beam, there were little to no chance he will put down the study material he brought along before it became really necessary. So that's why he got stucked with Yo's best friend.

"Why the scowl, P'? Afraid not being handsome enough to walk with me?"

"Huh, like hell. You are lucky I want to walk with you. I know I'm handsome enough so mind your business."

"Well, you are super cute for someone's older. Small too. I think I could eat you up."

Kit's temper started to rise. He turned his face towards Ming and shouted an array of expletives. Ming only winked at him. The nerve! Kit did all he could to remember why it's not good to kill this guy.

"I'm not food! Don't you dare to say you want to eat me, you jackass! That's rude!"

"Why not? Beside, Kitkat is my favorite."

If Kit's glare could burned like laser, Ming will be a crispy deadmeat right now. But alas, Kit is a mere normal human. He power walked to the hotel, leaving Ming to follow him around.

The retreat to the beach were a brewing disaster, in Beam's humble opinion. Not only Kit's badmood were in full blown (from what he saw, the source is a six foot two inches of current Engineering moon, which is N'Yo's best friend), Pha were being unreasonably popular that it seemed made Yo jealous and insecure (they rooming together seemed made Pha more nervous). He really tempted to call P'Forth to vent. But he can't.

When Beam texted P'Forth to inform him that he will be out of town for two days, Forth replied that he's on the way to Chiang Mai to visit a site project, along with visiting his brother. Beam totally understand that being someone important equals with being busy. But he really can't stand his unreasonable bestfriends at the moment.

A chimed from his phone startled him. A message.

Beam hastily opened it and he saw lines of words from P'Forth.

Hello, N'Beam. Having a blast? Don't drink too much, na. You told me you had to drive your friends back to Bangkok tomorrow. When you arrived, text me.

Beam replied swiftly.

Night, P'Forth. Don't worry, I always drink with moderation. Really wanna vent right now. The guys were being ridiculous at the moment.

After he sent that, his phone were ringing. Forth name's flashing at his screen. There's no way he will let this chance to vent passed him.

"P'Forth, kidnapped me!"

Beam's request pulled a laugh from the other side of the phone.

"I will if I could, N'Beam. What's up there? I think you were happy that you could had a short gateaway to the beach. No sunny side up today? It's not rainy season yet."

Forth's teasing made Beam's lips unconsiously forming a pout. No one can see him so he will pout all the way he want to, dammit.

Beam told Forth what happened today, start from how N'Yo got carsick and made Ai Pha so worried about it; how Ming, having extra free time because Ai Pha's guarding Yo like a top notch mother hen, teased Ai Kitty and made his best friend had a major badmood. He got a head ache already, without one drop of alchohol to blame.

Forth's chuckles could be heard from the phone. "In conclusion, you, being the mother of mother hen, became worried as well. Just let them be, N' Beam. It seems your kids will leave the nest in the near future to have a time full of romance with their boyfriends."

Beam took the phone away from his ear and stared at it. He didn't call to get teased, thank you very much. "Put the phone back to your ear, na, I'm not finished." If possible, Beam pouted harder. But he complied.

"It's nothing bad to be involved with love. From what I knew from you, N'Pha journey with N'Yo still had a major pending item. Once they cleared it up, I'm pretty sure sure you will less worried. But about N'Kit? I'm sorry but I believed you will get a moody person at your disposal. As far as I knew, Ming didn't give up easily."

Beam sucked his lower lip. What P'Forth said were all true. But he still allowed to be worried right?

"It's ok to be worried for your friends, N'Beam, but let them enjoy their life. You could enjoy yours too." Wow, he picked a first class sugardaddy indeed. Not only he were rich and handsome, he's also attentive and caring.

"I'll try, P'Forth and thank you, na. I'm sorry that I vent at you. You must be busy. Have you eat dinner? How's the trip?"

Forth gave Beam an update about his day. They talked somemore then end it with a reminder to another black tie event this Saturday. Beam already accompanied Forth twice in the last three weeks. Thankfully this time their schedules matched once again. He ended the phonecall and went to see Kit. Wonder what will happened tomorrow?
