Beam's road of recovery were filled with lots of food, sleep and kisses. After his released from the hospital, Forth just brought him back to his condo, leaving Kit at Ming's capable hands alone at their unit (which caused quite a scene for the moody Kitty).

The reason?

"Bee, your place didn't have elevator. How could you expect me to let you climb those stairs with a gunshot wound?"

The undeniable fact about the lack of security measure were left unsaid. Beam grudgingly accepted and gave the slot as roommate to Ming because Kit needed someone to nag him so he would sleep and eat.

What made Beam annoyed were the fact that he was chauffeured everywhere, which made him irked. He's not some elementray school student which need to be accompanied everywhere! Forth chose to relent by giving him the Lexus key.

"If you had to drive around by yourself, just used the car. I only get to use it to pick you up on weekend, anyway."

What Forth didn't tell Beam were that the car had a GPS tracker as part of his security measure. When Yo and Ming saw Beam drove that car, they were surprised and slightly jealous. Forth's indulgence for his sugarbaby seemed to know no boundaries.

Living with Forth were... easy, if Beam had to say something about it. That man were vastly different from Kit. He didn't nag, didn't cuss, didn't get messy. Beam only ever saw him frustrated with doing laundry (that's the only housecore Forth seemed to detest). As a plus, Beam could get hugs, kisses and cuddles all he want anytime the man were near. Big PLUS.

The moment the nightmares do visited, Forth became the dreamcatcher. Sometimes Beam felt ghost-pain and jumbled memories which made him restless. Forth actually waited for those nightmares. The doctor already warned him that the trauma might caught them in surprise. And Beam's melt down happened after a particular long labwork.

Beam were tired; his knees seemed to hate him, his back almost refused to bent and his arms shaking. Forth chose to meet him at the university so he could drive them home. After a long hot shower, Beam just fell asleep like flipped off light only to woke up whining and crying like scared child.

Forth never heard that kind of pitiful sounds before. Gently, he wrapped Beam in his arms and rubbed his back, tried to ease a little of Beam's nightmare. Forth couldn't force Beam to talk but he will be there when Beam's ready to spill the bean. It happened for few more days until suddenly, in the middle of a cuddle, Beam started to talk about his abduction.

"Never in my life I ran like that. I ran until everything's hurt; my chest, my legs, my head. One thing I remembered were being worried and angry. The moment I saw Prink's face at the warehouse, never in my life I wished I had a cobra poison. You know, P'? Cobra could squirted their poison so if I could, I would spit at her face, right at her eyes, to make that bitch suffered. Getting shot were easy. The scariest for me were being shipped somewhere out there to die as mutilated corpse; losing my organs after they snatched my way of life."

Beam's voice got so thin that Forth had to tighten his hug. He exhaled to regain his composure. Saying it in his own words made the experience felt so real yet so distant. Beam hated to remember it but he had too. He had to share something, need to vent. Forth kissed his temple and rubbed his back. Beam buried himself further to that cuddle.

"The moment you were rush to surgery room were one of the most helpless time I felt in my life, Bee. All of us; N'Kit, N'Pha, N'Ming and N'Yo, totally only had to do one thing. We had to wait. I didn't dare to pray because I'm afraid I'll start to bargain with God. Only when the doctor told me that you were saved, only then I dare to pray. If you want to spit poison at her eyes, I want to drag her to hell and back so I could drag her again."

Beam hugged Forth tighter when he heard those words from Forth's mouth. What Prink did were a terrible memory. Beam turned his head to catch Forth eyes. He tried to record his face to his deepest memory.

"I don't know why I never said it to you before, even when I already admitted what I felt to Kit and Pha. I love you, P'Forth. I love you so much. Always remember that I do, I really really do. Sorry to make you wait for me to say it out loud. I love you."

Forth's answer to his words were a steamy kiss which melt his backbone. Maybe Beam will say those words more often in the future.

Beam's hands were shaking. This is it. This is the day. Today, Beam, alongside Kit and Pha, will take their oath as doctor. Oh, how Beam would love to have his parents with him today.

These past few years flew like thunderbird for Beam. His university years seemed to pass in a snap then that hellish residency began and today, finally, he got to take his oath. To say Beam were melancholic were an understatement.

Beam heard someone approached him and he turned his head only to see his lover. Forth were still as handsome as the first time they met. Sure, now he got that small wrinkle that trickled at the corner of his eyes but his aura only got sexier.

Forth caught Beam's eyes and went forward to give him a searing kiss. Even his kiss still made Beam's knees got weak. Beam closed his eyes on reflex and roamed his hand at Forth's wide shoulder while he could felt a hand warpped his waist. Their tounges danced slowly, tried to prolong that kiss for a second to thirty.

The moment Beam opened his eyes, he could see part of his dream and his future on Forth. As if to say he understood, Forth gave Beam a kiss on the cheek. For his sweetness to be happy, he was content.
