Chapter 12

After departed with Beam with a promise to meet up again tonight (he said he will go home with Pha so he could tell Forth's message about not chewing anyone's head off), Forth chose to drop by at Yo's house.

Forth's storage unit was actually Yo's house. Particularly, part of Yo's garage. He put his car and other stuff there while he galavanting the world. Forth already send a message to tell Yo that he will visit because if he didn't do it and the kid missed him out, Yo will sulked for quite a time.

Better to avoid a moody teenager.

The road toward Yo's house unsurprisingly empty this day. Located at elite housing complex, filled with big houses, the road giving a serene ambience. Forth put his access card at the panel near the front gate. The gate opened automaticly and he drove his bike inside. P' Pon, the head driver, saw him and welcomed him. Forth parked hid bike and gave the older man a wai.

"Aiya N'Forth, what a surprise, na! How are you? Still as handsome as ever. It's a good surprise you came to visit! Young Master will be so happy."

Forth gave a smile. "I'm good, P'Pon and I'm glad to see that you looked healthy too. How's my car? Still collecting dust at the garage I presummed?"

The older man shook his head. "There's no way Master allowed such beauty collecting dust in the garage, N'Forth. We took care of her so don't you worry, she's in great condition. How about a test drive?"

"I'll take it later na, P'Pon. It seems someone miss me a lot." Forth said this because he heard someone shouting his name, followed by running steps. A body slammed at his, jostled him slightly.

"Woaa, Ai Yo.. I didn't know Aunty raised a bull. I almost fall when you tackled me! Look at you now, so tall already but still so cute." Forth teased his younger cousin, pinched his cheek. Yo tighten his hold at Forth middle section which start to get hurt a little.

"I'm not a bull! I'm just so excited that you visit! I miss you! A lot! Come on, come inside. Ma and Pa surely want to see you too." Yo grabbed his hand and dragged him inside. Forth waved at P'Pon and let Yo manhandle (or was it boyhandle since Yo's still 18?) him.

They entered the house and met with Yo's parents. "Good afternoon, Aunty, Uncle. How are you?" Forth gave them a wai.

"Aw, Forth, what a surprise! How are you? How was the trip?" Wayo's mother gave him a hug.

"It's as tiring as ever, Aunty. Uncle, thank you for taking a good care of my car. I'm sorry I leave her to you for so long." Wayo's father gaved him a handshake.

"The pleasure is mine, Forth. I presume you will take her back today?"

"That's right, Uncle and I'm sorry I had to switch it with my bike. I only got one parking lot at the condo." Forth rubbed his neck, reluctant. Surprisingly, his uncle face brigthen.

"You bring the Triumph? Don't worry, it's no burden! Can I take a ride with her too? If so, me and Mae will have a ride this evening. Just to bring a nostalgia." Yo's father winked at his wife, made all of them laughed.

"Of course, Uncle, please take it. It will be here for quite sometime anyway. I have to stay at Bangkok for quite sometime."

His aunt looked surprised then worried. "That's unusual, Forth. Usually you only spent a week, two at the longest, to stay here. Is there any problem?"

Yo's mother were still as sharp as ever.

Forth told them about P'Tee condition and how that condition affected his decision to stay. All four of them became quite. Yo's family knew P'Tee and Yo's father had several projects with him in the last decade. He's a dearest family friend.

Yo's soft voice broke the silence.

"Will you be happy then, P' Forth? It's your dream to travel the world."

Forth smiled gently and ruffled Yo's hairs. "I already traveled the world for a decade, moong. I believe it's God's way to asked me to come home. Caring for our family comes first, don't you think?"

Wayo looked conflicted but nod in the end.

"So, how have you been? I heard you got accepted to my almamater?"

That opened Wayo's mouth and made him chattered like hyper hummingbird. Yo's parents looked proud. Forth's almamater were considered one of the best university at the country and the admission test were hellish. Forth remembered Beam. He must be quite brilliant to be able to study at medical faculty in full pledge scholarship. Not to mention still had to do several part time job. What a resilient guy.

"Yo will have to move to a dorm near his faculty because even at this age, he's still a sleepy head," teased Yo's mother.

Yo's pouted at his mother's words. Forth laughed. "So you will haul all the comic books and action figure to your new room? Will there even be a space for you to sleep then? In the bathroom?"

Yo aimed his glare at Forth. That only made Forth want to laugh harder. It got the power of puppy glare, which is none what so ever, because it's way too cute. Forth pinched Yo's cheek.

"Na na, don't glare that way. It will wrinkled your face and Ming will tease you to no end."

Yo replied by making an uglier face expression. What an achievement.

"Oh look at the time! Forth, how about you stay for dinner? I'm sure Yo still want to chat with you."

His aunt's question made Forth checked for the time. Then he checked his phone. There's one message. From Beam.

"Thank you but I'm sorry na, Aunty. I already got appointment before hand. I'll definitely have a meal here next time. I had to go now before the traffic jammed."

Yo's face turned mischievous. "Oh hoo, only one day at home but already snatched a date. You move fast, P' Forth. What a tiger."

Forth winked at his words. "It's called charm, N'. Practice at yours so you could get a sweetheart. Ok, I'll go now. Aunty, Uncle, thank you for having me. I'll drop by again as soon as possible."

His uncle accompanied him to the garage. They talked some more and Forth gave him another wai. Forth already exchanged the key for the bike with his car key. He walked inside to fetch it.

His black RC F Lexus parked near the entry way. The car looked groomed and well kept. It's the right decision to store it at Yo's home. Yo's dad worked at automotive business made him the right person to take care of his baby.

Forth got inside and turned on the engine. He must gave P'Pon a gift for keeping it in pristine condition. The gas tank already full. He's ready to go.
