Chapter 27

That night, Ming felt like he's on the top of the world. He did it! He's Kanthapat University Campus Moon! P' Kitkat will have a dinner with him tonight! Yes! YES!

To say that he's elated were underrated. He's over the moon by being the Moon! Ming step up front to receive the sash that marked his winning. He could see hundreds of face in front of him but he only zoomed his stare to one Medical student that loudly clapped with a very proud smile.

Eventhough Ming didn't receive any rose from Kit for popularity award, he's still very happy to see that smile. Beside, when he winked at him (Ming definitely caught Kit's eyes when he did that), the blush were a personal prize for him.

Yo could see how happy Mingkwan tonight. He himself were quite happy with his achievement. Never he tought that he could be Moon, winning titles and be this proud of himself. Looked how far he were from last year.

Yo saw P'Forth among the audience, holding his phone up, no doubt taking pictures or video for his parents. He gave his sweetest smile on stage. His friends from Science faculty even cried and screaming like crazy, made him a little teary too.

Pha handed over the sash to Ming, the new Campus Moon, and felt utter relieved that now his task were over. He's never been more glad. Pha threw a smile at Yo.

Without Campus Moon's duty and schedule, he could focused all his free time for Yo. Pha remembered Forth's words and his own promise. He's serious about his feeling and he will prove it to Yo, among everybody else. So it has to be tonight. When he reached the back stage, Pha immediately called Beam to ensure the prop for his plan tonight.

After sending tons of pictures and video to Yo's parents, Forth went to find Beam. It's almost 8 and he's quite hungry. Forth saw him marched toward the exit, seemed in hurry. He chose to call him out. Beam slowed down his hurried steps when he heard his name were called and turned his head.

"Oh, P'Forth! I'm sorry, P, but I have to hurry. My bossy bestfriend need me to take something for him at Siam Square. I need to catch a ride to go there."

Beam didn't want to be rude but traffic is a bitch at Friday night. The mall weren't far but the timing sucked. Forth did the unthinkable then.

"Let me drive you there. Friday night traffic is cruel. Even if you catch a taxi there, the fare would be ridiculous. Beside, you need to eat. What time that bossy friend of yours need that 'something'?"

Beam sucked on his lower lip. Free ride and free meal. With P'Forth. Ah, hell, Beam could be spoiled too sometimes.

"Not that late but the sooner the better, P'."

Forth smirked at hearing that and steered Beam toward the parking lot. "It's better if we hurry up, then."

Beam couldn't agree more.

Because Pha kept bombarding his phone with emojis and stickers (for someone as aloof as Pha, his emojis and stickers surprisingly vastly varied), Beam asked P'Forth if it's alright to have a take away dinner.

"I'm okay with that. Beside the mall felt over crowded for me tonight. The payday were this Wednesday anyway and I believe tomorrow it will be worse. Eventough I enjoyed building it doesn't mean I liked to shop in it. Any special request?"

Beam snickered at hearing that and asked Forth to surprise him with dinner. They went to different directions to tackle the task and promised to meet up at the store Beam went to. Beam found the store and waited in line for a shop assistant to see him.

He gave the bill (Pha already paid it in full) and waited for the good. When they checked it together, just to make sure, Beam saw a different bracelet than one that Pha described.

"Miss, this is not the one my friend ordered. Please check it up once again. It should be white leather bracelet, a rare piece from this series. I had to bring it tonight so please hurry."

The lady huried to the back, leaving Beam to wait at the front. That's how he saw Prink. From where he were seated, he could see the hallway clearly but people couldn't see him if they didn't come in.

Beam saw her with a much older man and from where his hand were located, he's pretty sure that's not her dad or uncle. The man got an ugly sneer on his face while Prink had a flat expression, marched on with resolve.

If that were the kind of men she got surrounded her, no wonder she chase Pha like hellhound. Pha were a perfect package; young, handsome, smart and, most importantly, rich. He were snapped from his musing when the assistant came back. They checked the order together and Beam confirmed it's finally the right one.

When he went outside, Beam were surprised to see Forth already waiting for him on the bench near the store. He showed Beam the take away bag triumphantly.

"This one will be a nice surprise, trust me. What did you have to pick up, N'Beam?"

Before he could answer, his phone buzzed again. Sometimes Pha need to be more patient! Beam checked his message and hufted.

"P'Forth, it's ok to drop by at N'Yo's apartment, right? I believe N'Yo will get a marriage proposal tonight."

?!

"What do you mean with marriage proposal? My baby cousin is just 18!"
