The music was deafening, the bass was so loud I couldn't hear the words that were being sung. I didn't really care, I hadn't come for the music. I was here for one thing and one thing only, a good time. I had come to depend on parties and bars as a way to numb the emptiness that grew inside me. When I was intoxicated on alcohol and the atmosphere I forgot about him. The alcohol made my brain foggy and made me feel at ease. I hadn't been sober for over a month but I had become good at hiding it. It was like I was a pathological liar, I would convince everyone I was just having a good time. Even our tour manager hadn't noticed how much I had been drinking. It was funny he had actually commented that he was happy to see me looking so well like I had fully recovered from my heartbreak. I had smiled and nodded and told him I was just enjoying being on tour so much that I had no space to be upset over my failed relationship.

No one saw the black pits of emptiness that sat behind my eyes, the dark despair was consuming me. I wanted to be happy, I really did try.

I was stood by the bar with shots of tequila lined up ready, my plan was to drink until I didn't feel lonely anymore.

"I must be hammered" I stated as I placed my palm on my head. My vision was starting to blur but I was sure I had just seen a very familiar face walking towards me.

His long copper hair was loose around his shoulders , his blue eyes were bright and totally unmistakable. A spattering of stubble laid in his chin and cheek perfectly like it had been drawn on. His face was slim and pretty, he looked so feminine but still manly at the same time. I couldn't tear my eyes from his, the perfect blue pools write focused on me. A sexy smile spread across his face as he got closer.

Joe Kerr had started his career in a rock band but was now known more for the cult blockbusters he stared in. I had never been star struck by anyone I had met before but I could feel nerves consuming me as he got closer. I was a huge fan of his films, I had seen most of his stuff.

I was so distracted in drinking him in that I didn't notice when he stopped in front of me.

"Taylor , I'm a huge fan" his strong California accent was like music to my ears. I could listen to him speak all night.

I blinked more than once just to check I wasn't imagining it. I don't know how I managed to speak, I was crushing on him hard.

"A fan of mine" I stuttered

He gave a curt nod and smiled. "I like your music, you have a great voice"

"Thanks you too" I was so nervous, I hadn't taken my eyes off him. I hoped I didn't look like a dog staring him down.

He smirked and peered over my shoulder "they all yours "

I turned and saw all the shots and felt a little embarrassed. It was a little excessive.

"You want one" I lifted a glass and handed it to him.

He took the drink and proceeded to drink it, I watched his sexy mouth as he swallowed. How was it possible that even his mouth was sexy.

"Lets drink those then we can dance" he suggested as he took another shot and emptied int down his throat.

I didn't speak I used my energy drinking the potent liquid. He looked smug as he drained the last glass.

He took my hand in his and pulled me towards the heaving dance floor. Our bodies pressed together as we moved to the rhythm of the music. His hands were on my waist as I grinder my ass into his groin. I found myself smiling for the first time in months, I didn't think I would ever have a genuine smile again. I could feel the stubble of his chin on my shoulder and his breath on my neck.

"You should dance more in your videos, you would sell more records" he whispered into my ear.

I was beaming, I was like the cat who got the cream. I never thought I would be dancing with a Hollywood heartthrob, it was so surreal.

Joe and I danced until we began to get clumsy on our feet, the tequila was starting to take control.

"You want a smoke" he shouted above the music.

I don't smoke but I didn't want to leave his side so I nodded.

He held my hand as he led me from the club to the hooded area at the back of the club.

The cold air was a relief as we stood by the doors, I could finally breath. I could tell how drunk I actually was now I was breathing fresh air. I was unsteady on my feet as was joe but we helped each other stay up right.

I was was thinking of what I was going to say when joe started talking and broke the tension. I liked how confident he was, he wasn't nervous at all.

"How long are you in Detroit" he asked as he lit his cigarette.

"3 weeks. We're recording a single and shooting a video. What about you"

His rosy lips sucked on the white stick as he looked at me, he seemed interested in what I had to say. He hadn't taken his eyes off me.

"Were just finishing filming the killer squad sequel, we should wrap up Thursday"

"What's next "

He shrugged. "I guess I'll read some scripts and just unwind"

Anthony and Freddie were leaving the club when they saw joe and I. They made their way over to us with clear excitement on the their face when they recognised joe.

"Joe Kerr, love your stuff man" Freddie said as he put his hand out.

Joe greeted the both of them happily.

"We're heading back to the hotel to party, you wanna join " Anthony asked.

Joe looked at me for approval , how could I refuse spending more time with him.

"Rock and roll style" I said winking at Anthony. It was our private joke.

"Sounds good to me" joe said as he threw his cigarette and pulled me to him.

Freddie lent in and whispered in my ear "hold the drugs, Double the sex"

Joe smirked "just the way I like it"
