"TGIF " Tracy said as she slumped i the chair.
I smiled and agreed, I was ready for the week to be over. It had been a nightmare, between the gifts and the calls Greg was suffocating me.
He just wasn't getting it through to his thick head that we were done, there was no going back. It was a mistake to even start something in the beginning, isn't it always a mistake to strike up a relationship with a rebound.
"Any plans" I asked Tracy as I drank my coffee.
It was clear she did indeed have plans; she was smiling brightly and almost bouncing in her chair. " my wife's taking me to Vermont for the weekend as a treat for getting the job."
"Lucky lady, it will be lovely this time of year" I replied.
" Pat surprised me with it this morning, I had to pack my bag before work"
"She's a keeper" I declared. Tracy had told me a lot about her marriage and it sounded like a dream. It was obvious that they loved and respected each other. I was envious, I wanted a real relationship like the one I had with my ex Sam. We had been together for a few years and it had been open and honest.
"Look who's coming" Tracy said as she nodded over to the elevator.
Greg was exciting the elevator with 2 other men, I had seen on mr Benjamin's schedule that he had a breakfast meeting so I realised it must have been with Greg.
"You ok" Tracy whispered as they got closer.
"Yeah,I'm fine. Do you want to take the minutes in the meeting and I'll set up your email" I asked hoping I wouldn't be forced in a small room with him.
Tracy gave me a sympathetic smile and nodded her head, she was on her feet and walking towards Greg and the others. Greg looked over at me and smiled, I couldn't ignore him I just tilted my head in recognition that I had seen him.
"Taylor, are you joining us in the meeting" Greg asked as he stopped in front of my desk.
"No I thought Tracey may as well so it alone as I won't be here to help her next week"
He looked disappointed but gave a Kurt nod, "could we speak after the meeting, I know you've been avoiding me but I think we should talk"
I put my hand up to stop him "if it's about work then until 5 today I have no choice. If it's not then I would prefer that you don't speak to me again. We really have nothing to say"
"Don't be like that" he whines.
The office phone rang, I had never been so grateful. "Sorry duty calls"

"Hey how was your last day" chuck called out from another room.
"It was ok, I'm glad to be out of there. I've been thinking I should go back to my place tonight. I've already taken advantage of your hospitality" I called.
I waited for a response but one never came instead chuck entered the room. My eyes almost popped from their sockets when I saw chuck standing their dripping wet with only a towel covering his Crown Jewels. I was staring, I didn't pull myself out of it until I heard him talk.
