Selena's POV:

I slipped into a booth with Chase and stared blankly at the table. My mind was consumed with thoughts of Justin. His expression when he saw me and Chase was priceless.

"So, tell me a little bit about yourself." Chase said over the music.

"Well..." I began, "What do you want to know."

"Everything." He replied.

I sighed and ran a hand through my hair before talking.

"Well... My favorite color is green, I never really had a best friend, I hate liars, cheats and players."

"I'm none of those things Selena." Chase said, taking my hand in his.

I stared down at our hands. His warm hands placed over mine securely but there was just nothing there. It was nothing compared to what I felt when I was with Justin. This, well, it just felt completely wrong and disgusting.

I pulled my eyes up to him and frowned slightly.

"How do you do it?" I asked.

"Do what?"

"This." I frowned, "How do you deal with the fact that you're getting married in a couple of months to a girl you barely know?"

He laughed and shook his head.

"It was pretty easy for me, believe it or not... It was a shock but there was nobody special in my life and hey, I'm going to get married someday.. I don't really see what's wrong about marrying you."

I stared at him in shock.

"But... Don't you want to be in love when you get married?"

"Who's saying that we can't fall in love?" He asked.

Everything. Me. My heart. My head. Every single part of my body and Justin by the looks of things.

"It'll get easier." He assured me.

"I hope you're right..." I murmured, "Excuse me, I got to go to the bathroom."

Chase nodded and let go of my hands, allowing me to stand up. I didn't really have to go to the bathroom, I just had to get away from this. This was twisted, what he said was twisted, I honestly don't see how things will get easier and I definitely can't see myself falling for him.

I slid out of the booth and stood up. I looked over towards the bar, where Justin was sitting with the boy he was with earlier. He was staring at me as he chugged down a bottle of beer. I held in a sigh as I stood up and made my way through the dancing crowds of girls and guys grinding on each other and making out.

I pushed the door leading to the bathrooms open and walked inside.

"I thought you said that he was only a friend."

I jumped at the sound of Justin's voice and turned around. He was standing against the bathroom doors with a bottle of beer in his hand. He was staring at me with an intense look in his eyes.

"What?" I asked.

"Chase." He said, spitting out his name like it was venom, "You said he was only a friend."

"He is." I nodded.

"He fucking looks like more than a friend to me!" Justin snapped.

"Well I'm sorry that I don't share my fucking personal life with you." I hissed at him.

He moved away from the door and dropped the bottle of beer from his hand, letting it crash to the ground, sending pieces of glass everywhere. He continued walking, making me to back up until my back was against a wall. He blocked me, putting his hands at either side of the wall.
