~Selena's P.O.V~

"Be nice." My dad reminded me as we got out of his car.

My dad made me come back home so that I could give some sort of apology to my mom, just to make her believe that I was serious about this wedding.

I fought the urge to roll my eyes as I gave him a nod.

"Of course." I mumbled, shutting the car door.

My dad opened the front door of the house for me to walk in first. I glanced at him as he gave me a reassuring smile, I sighed, letting my head hang as I walked into my house, my dad following me.

"Mom!?" I called out, waiting for her reply.

The kitchen door opened and my mom appeared with a cup of coffee in her hand. She only glanced at me before looking back at my dad.

"I see you've found her." She stated.

No shit bitch.

"Yeah, I did." My dad replied, walking past me and gently pushing my mom out of the way of the door and pushed the door open further for him to fit through.

"Where was she?" My mom questioned my dad, bringing her eyes back to me, "With that boy, that waste of time? No doubt."

I let a growl escape my throat as I walked past her and into the kitchen to where my dad was sitting at the table. I sat down across from him and gave him a doubtful look. He just nodded slightly, telling me that it was ok.

I sighed, "Mom, sit down."

"Why?" She scoffed.

I gritted my teeth, "Because I have to talk to you."

"Then talk." She replied, walking towards the table and crossing her arms over her chest.

I took a deep breath, calming myself down before looking at her smug little face.

"I'm sorry." I choked out, "What I did and what I said was way out of order and you didn't deserve that. You only want what's best for me, I know that and apparently, Chase is what's best for me so.. I'm sorry for everything I have done in the past, especially for how I acted towards you, dad, Chase and his parents."

It hurt saying that.

I wasn't sorry for any of it. I still felt myself smile thinking about the look on Chase's mothers face that night at dinner and the satisfaction I got when I slapped my mom, not to mention the look on her face.
Priceless.

She stared at me down for a few minutes with a thoughtful look on her face. I held in a breath as I waited nervously to see if she believed me or not. She glanced at my dad who was sitting in silence and then brought her eyes back at me.

She let out a sigh, "Well... I guess I can accept your apology.. If you really mean it."

My lips curved into a smile, "Oh believe me, I do."

She nodded, "Well, if that's all. I've been meaning to catch up on some soap operas that I missed out on since I was busy planning your wedding."

"Ok." I mumbled, looking at my dad who was holding back a smile.

My mom walked out of the kitchen without another word. As soon as the door closed I jumped up from my seat with happiness. My dad chuckled, standing up and pulled me into another hug.

"Told you that it would work." He told me.

I nodded, smiling from ear to ear.

"Thanks." I murmured.

"My pleasure."

Soon, I will get my happily ever after.

Without Chase or my mom in the picture to ruin it.

************

I stared at myself in the mirror blankly, looking over my white dress and my black hair that was styled perfectly in loose curls, a small diamond tiara sitting on the top of my head for decorations, my veil attached onto it, coming the whole way down my back, dragging along the floor.
I managed to block out the voices of my mom, aunts and cousins as they all fussed over me, touching up my cheeks with blush and fixing the dress and veil, making sure that I looked perfect.

"You look gorgeous!" They gushed.

I put on a smile and thanked everyone as we made our way out to the car to go to the church.
My grandma would be there as well. I explained to her what our plan was as she was more than eager to be here to see how it goes.

* * * * *

Our driver pulled up outside the church that was full of people, most of them I didn't know. I took a deep breath as I opened the door but my mom stopped me. I glanced at her.

She smiled, "I'm proud of you y'know, I'm glad you finally saw some sense after all."

I let out a dry chuckle.
Oh if only she knew.

"Me too mom." I smiled sweetly at her.

In an instant, my cousins and aunts rushed towards me to grab the back of the veil, making sure that it didn't get dirty. My dad was standing at the main doors of the church, waiting patiently for me to walk me down the isle.
I smiled brightly at him, he smirked and came towards me to meet me half way.

"Wow." He smiled, "Look at you."

I shrugged and smiled.

"Amazing what a bit of makeup can do, huh?" I grinned.

He chuckled as he linked arms with me. The photographers that my mom hired for the wedding began taking pictures as my mom headed off into the church. My bridesmaids stood in front of me and my dad and began walking into the church as the music began to play.

"You are ready for this?" My dad murmured to me.

"Definitely." I smiled, "Where's Justin."

My dad smiled and nodded towards the iron gates that were surrounding the church. I looked towards the gates and saw Justin standing there looking as hot as ever in his jeans and black shirt and skinny white tie.
He smirked at me, giving me a seductive wink. I laughed lightly as me and my dad began walking into the church.

Everyone stood up and turned towards me and my dad, admiring every single detail about how I looked. Chase was standing at the altar, smiling at me. I took a deep breath as we approached nearer and nearer to the isle.
My dad kissed my cheek as he let go of me to go take his seat. I stood in front of Chase, putting on a fake smile.

"You look nice." Chase commented.

"You too." I replied blankly.

The priest looked between us both with doubt but started with the ceremony. I kept glancing at the door way, waiting for Justin to walk in and stop the wedding. Each time my dad would give me a reassuring look, telling me that everything was ok.
All I could do was stand there and pretend like I had a clue about what the priest was talking about..
